Its more the awful transportation planning that has plagued the city since the 70s. I lived there for the first 8 years if my career and left as soon as I could. It’s a shithole and only people that haven’t traveled outside of the south in their whole lives disagree.

I've been to just about every state in the US, and I wholeheartedly disagree. Atlanta's population is booming for a reason. Traffic stinks, but you find ways to deal with it. The cost of living is excellent, there is abundant entertainment, and you can drive to the mountains or the beach in half a day.
