Is it really because they would lose their built in excuse to not have to leave the state of Florida for an OOC game?
On a related note, why are Florida fans so scared to play in Athens?

Why would the other 14 members accept less money(vs adding a school in Va or NC) to let in a team that spurned us at the altar the first time?

Another quality football program.
Why are Alabama fans so scared to let FSU in?
Oh, I guess I already answered that with my first statement.

Last trip to Athens 52-17 UF over UG. Half a hundred for worst home defeat in UG history.
We not scared, but why travel to Athens when we can play in beautiful downtown Jacksonville?

It's the difference between quality football and sub-par football.

But then you wouldn't understand about 'quality football'.

Of any football team's fanbase in the country, you are trying to call out the LAST one of them all that would actually be afraid to let any one school concern them at all. but, awful try tho!

Bring em on, we play them in every sport every year anyway. It would actually help UFL as they would have to compete against the same competiton and would be shown to be the second rate program that they are.

It doesn't, but some of the fans want it.
We're not scared to play quality football teams.

FSU belongs in the conference...
For that matter, lets take Virginia Tech, Clemson, and Louisville as well, and call it a done deal

So then why not travel to play UGA in their home stadium?

Oh, I see...
If you're scared, say you're scared.

All you do is whine. Literally I see you whining in more threads than just about anyone else on here

Finally, a sound response.
I'd love to see FSU in the SEC, most UF fans I know though throw temper tantrums every time I mention it.
