This is a good reason. I'm not sure all the A&M posters on here have the same opinion as you do, but this is a reason to pull against a team. I think the question that the OP was alluding to was why the Bama love?

THIS, add to the fact that the Big 12-2 was on the brink of irrelevance now this win goes a long way to restoring it's legitimacy on the recruiting field and upcoming playoffs.

Probably b/c we, I mean A&M, or maybe I mean A&M fans? Can I just use a "royal we" for this? Mike da Tigah didn't tell me the rules so I dunno.
Anyway, we see LSU as more of a direct rival due to location and noticed that pumping Bama seems to annoy LSU fans. Since we have come from conferences where pissing off rivals is the customary behavior we have carried it over here.

I would (and somewhat do) I swear, but all big 12 d bags are still butthurt we gone so they make a big deal when they beat sec teams. They made a big deal when texas beat ole miss last year too.
