Lets keep in mind here the All Time Series is 76–37–5 Meaning A&M could win 39 in a row and still not have the All Time Series lead. That is embarrassing.
Texas is 2-5 against USC....based on how often we play each other, it could be another 2,000 years before you catch us. Now, that's embarrassing.

Not the same, A BRANCH OF, as in we yo daddy.

It’s a joke.
It annoys many horns (see their follow-up aggy silliness).
UTex is a university "in" Texas not the university "of" Texas; so t.u. stands for texas university, with the lowercase letters being an added insult.
UTex called themselves Texas University for years.
Our conference brothers, Tennessee, are UT.
"the University" part is correct, UT calling themselves "Texas University" is incorrect.

Northgate belongs to A&M.
Apparently it must since you have quarterbacks who feel comfortable sleeping on the planters after they pass out, ala "Trill"

And the American Colonies were once a subsidiary of Great Britain.
I wouldn’t call the United Kingdom the U.S.’s daddy today.

What an odd correlation.

Texas and Tennessee went to court over the use of UT as an on field logo and helmet logo. It was finally settled (I think out of court) by dividing things up so that East of the Mississippi, Tennessee had rights and West of the Mississippi, Texas had rights. Being the much older school, we probably could've pushed the issue but back then no one watched out of market/timezone games so it didn't matter all that much and the two schools were fine with it.
That said, we switched to the power T on the field and on helmets and Texas eventually went with the longhorn logo. And tbh, I think both schools wound up with better logos than the one we originally fought over.
I'd love to read that letter tho. It sounds salty!
letter doesn't exist, it's aggy fantasy.
TN & TX never went to court, TN filed for rights using the "interlocking T" on items Texas had not protected by copyright. The settlement was indeed based on east/west of the Mississippi. It's not about which school is older, it's who legally protects the rights initially.

THE USC (University of Southern California) took South Carolina to court over the use of "USC" and "SC" interlocking logos on their uniforms, etc. Southern California WON. Below are two links to this story...

USC wins case over usc, jr
It sounds like USCw already had theirs registered which gave them a lot of legal strength but I have no clue as to how anyone could be confused between USC's SC logo and South Carolina's SC logo. If the images in those articles are correct, the court should've approved South Carolina's petition, imo. No one would mistake those two logos despite some similarity in color.
At least with Texas and Tennessee the confusion/false association case would've been easy to make - two schools in orange using identical interlocking UTs with the only real difference being the shade of orange.

So you're admitting that you're a territory that doesn't consider yourselves American, wants to freeload off the U.S. but doesn't want to be an official state?
Sounds like t.u.'s relationship with the State of Texas to me.

Daniel Figurelli is now known as Daniel Joseph.. I would think a 2nd real name trumps a 2nd username online.

As a branch school of the University of Texas that annually receives hundreds of millions from our oil rights dividends & didn't want to be under our shadow/conference ties... that is very comical.

Uh sorry. Just so you say something doesn’t make it so. The P**** envy of Aggies is hilarious when it comes to UT. Never has aTm been ranked above UT in any measure of academics, athletics, good looking women, you name it. It makes you guys feel better to tell that lie that you know deep in your heart is not true.
I can’t believe I’m on here defending UT because I don’t like them either but at least I have a grudging respect for them. Their arrogance at least has some background substance and validity. aTm not so much. But you keep telling yourself that hoping the rest of us will believe it. Good luck with that.
