But Dabo can have the last laugh...everyone on that team can return for another year to get the bad taste out of their mouth...unlimited redshirts etc. can flip the whole question...Trevor, Travis, Skalski, Turner, Ross, Spector etc...they can all come back and get an MBA...nobody has to go...literally nobody! Now the NCAA would have to come up with special rules, what a mess, Clemson can still win...Skalski would actually be able to break the Renfrow record! Did the zebras not just happen to notice head shots on Trevor and Travis, not one call (maybe a great night to get those T's) Stay after their sorry Butts Dabo!

Dabo's rep is being tarnished, and Clemson has many doubters once again.

it happens with the most talented and favored teams. We had the injury bug and played against a team that practiced and focused on playing us all year long. We came in less prepared to beat them. You can't do that against a top 5 program. They had a top QB who had all his weapons- while TL had 3 5*'s banged up in one way or another behind a line that graduated 4 last year. It makes sense- CLEMSON, BAMA, and sometimes OSU, can explode on you with all the right pieces at any moment, and we will too on somebody else, like we did against OSU 4 straight times. It was our turn to grow up and be a dynasty blue blood. We(fan base included) must learn and adjust from this experience. If we are committed to not taking players via transfer, then we will have to not miss on or lose and then develop all of our recruits who stay. We will be solid culturally and as a program for years to come that way but if we miss, or lose transfers and get injured, there will be games/years like this one. We are a dynasty, get used to breathing the rare air which may mean losing on the mountaintop, on the biggest stages, like our fellow big boy programs. We would have beat ND in south bend if we had more depth, well we had some off recruiting and some busts at just the wrong time and the stars aligned for ND- who had to beat us in double overtime. Finally, give our coach time to grow too. Saban was committed to a certain O vs D philosophy and WE made him have to change. We are here to stay in top 3 or 4 IMHO, but with the teams we are competing with at this level, we cannot win every time and we will not match them every time. Go Tigers!!!

I played football through college and have never been one to blame officiating for loses and I won’t start now. However, this game from an officiating standpoint was beyond fishy. I have never seen so many holding calls that were out in the open that lead to scores just be ignored. There were 5 total penalties (OSU:2 Clem:3) through 3 Qs. In the Q4 the penalty flags all of sudden started coming out. The Skalski targeting call was only reviewed bc Fields got blasted. The officials completely ignored the targeting of Travis Etienne by #92 Haskell Garrett, even after Trevor pointed it out. This was an actual intent to injure and the booth ignored it. Justin Fields was able to rack up yards vs our secondary bc the DL was neutralized by all of the holding. Just to be clear I am Not whining, I am just stated facts.
