All around you might consider DMac as he ran the wildcat much of the time, threw multiple TDs and returned kickoffs in addition to his RB duties.

If that asshat Spurrier hadn’t been so petty and left him off his heisman ballot for running for over 300 yards against his cocks Tebow wouldn’t have won.
The math isn't mathing for this one.

Ja’Marr Chase who was first team All-American and won the Biletnikoff. Piping hot take
Didn’t jamarr chase opt out for a season? That doesn’t scream “face of the position” to me.
It’s Devonta Smith, and it is not close. Walk off TD in the natty as a freshman. 215 and 3tds in a half of another natty. Heisman trophy. 2x national champ. There’s not another resume in the same neighborhood.

McFadden had a sad career at Arkansas.
Came up short twice for the heisman.
Came up short in the SEC title game.
Never won a bowl game.
Not his fault though.

He carried Arkansas on his back.

ETA: taking LSU players out of it, Donta Hightower doesn’t belong in the same sentence as Von Miller and I hate A&M. You’re a moron
How many times did you see Von Miller wear an SEC patch on his jersey?
This is like saying OJ Simpson is one of the best Big 10 RBs of all time.

Henry and Fournette are #1 and #2 in SEC history for single seasons
McFadden was great no doubt.
Burrow holds the all time single season records by a mile. As in not even close. Tebow was still face of CFB, and Newton basically single handedly won auburn a title.
The wideouts I mention hold all of the top marks in SEC history. Malik Nabers was close but we didn’t win the conference or title with him, and Jayden Daniel’s got all of the media his breakout year

With all those accolades, surely he was drafted ahead of Chase.
