You serious Clarke? He would start for us. If not,it would take some hellacious performances in fall practices to win the job.

Let me give you an example of the receiving records at lsu ,dizzle my nizzle.

Single season touchdown recieving leaders. These are the Top 3 seasons of all time at lsu.

1.jamar chase -20tds- 2019season
2.justin Jefferson-18tds-2019 season
3.terrace Marshall-13 TDs- 2019 season

This shows that shite has changed in the sec and at lsu offenses explode in certain years and last year at 5-5 lsu still had one of the best seasons of offensive production in program history with 3 different qbs ,two of which weren't even expected to be ready to play physically for some and mentally from others.

What I'm trying to say is,saying that kayshon has a chance to break career receiving yardage records at lsu isnt that crazy.

Jamar chase would have probably got it if he played 3 years and boutte has about 3 times the yards that chase had as a frosh.

Doesnt that make sense? I'm not claiming hes gonna be the best receiver and break records in the whole country, just that he has a chance to break team records. Dude was awesome Saturday too,not that it means much.

A now junior with 7 TD’s in 20 games

Yeah no.

Not really his fault he had the worst head coach in SEC history and zero QB his freshman year. Dude is going to be a very high draft pick.

Any “who’s the best at...” threads should be titled “let me tell you why I believe we have the best at...”

I'm not sure if Ainias Smith (564 yards and 6 receiving TDs - 10 total TDs last year - while splitting time between RB and WR) deserves to be in the top 3, but he's close.

And with LJ Johnson on campus, Achane having a year under his belt, and Spiller back, I expect Smith to be primarily a WR this year.

Good god. LSU fans can’t help themselves.

“Arik Gilbert is a generational TE. I have a feeling he will be the greatest to ever do it when it’s all said and done.”

“Grant Delpit will be a sure fire top 10 pick”

“Fournette is a once in a lifetime back”

LSU fans have a nasty habit of convincing themselves that a player is going to be unbelievable. And it usually takes a lot to convince them otherwise

I don't see what is so crazy about any of those things, except maybe you melting about them.

And Caleb Chapman is a dark horse here.

He had 14 catches for 200 yards and 4 TDs in 3 games before he was lost for the year in the in over Florida. He looked really, really good until his injury. He killed UF.

I sure would love to see what demas from a and m could do with more reps.
Is he still getting the label of "lazy"?

Asking anyone not you particularly

He is an incredible athlete who can make circus catches, but he is still learning how to be a WR. He played at a crap program, then lost his whole senior year. He's still very raw, but if he ever gets it, he might be a freak.

Burton for UGA has a chance to be on that list but we’ll need to see the season play out.

Woulda been George Pickens

Yeah, Pickens would have led every preseason list in the conference.

Only questions going in would probably be if Daniels could reliably get him the ball, and if Pickens could mature enough mentally. (It seemed like both were trending positive, from all accounts.)

All 7 of those TD's were last year. Dumbass Chad Morris didn't know to get his best player the ball and couldn't get a QB. I hate that guy. frick Chad Morris.

Arik gilbert was the highest rated tight end in 247s history. Him and Washington are two of the top talents at tight end coming out of high school ever.
All of these things can be argued
But Gilbert just doesn't want to put in the physical effort to actually be a TE. He is just a WR
