OU started off sluggish but found their game. Is this a shootout or will Florida defense (after experiencing Alabama offense) now feel like they can do enough to hold OU down at times and just beat them outscoring them with time eating clock?

Dan Mulllen's best team at State lost to a GA Tech team that used the triple option in the Orange Bowl... The writing is on the wall

Gonna be a shootout.

I’ll still take UF

I’d like to forget that game lol. The triple option is hard to prepare for when you never see it.

I agree but it will be close imo. OU wants to make a statement and UF just gained a lot of confidence in the Sec champ game.

Like k. Pitts who's already opted out?

Fla's too dependent on Pitts as witnessed against Bama and LSU as he was missing in that game..

No Pitts is an uphill battle for Florida with their defense Being suspect. With Pitts it would be fla to easily win by 9-10 pts. Without Pitts, it'll be a 7-10 pt loss for the Gators.
And I hate that for the SEC!

If the game ends after two quarters, I’d go with OU. For a full 60 minutes I’d take UF. Watching OU in late game situations pains us Sooners.

UF but also depends on opt outs.

OU has improved and Riley is a very good coach too.

I'm expecting Toney and maybe Grimes to opt out. We will be down a lot of weapons. It'll be tough.

Florida should beat them handily even without Pitts.

OU by 14+. They’re hot right now and they always get up for these type of bowl games against SEC teams. They think if they beat up on an 8-3 Florida team, that they own the SEC.

To put things in perspective....Rattler is young...although he will do well in the big twelve.

Trask will school his teams defense. We have loads of talent at WR.

Good Lord, with Pitts already out, OU is going to maul UF.

This is going to be embarrassing.

Florida's biggest problem is finding enough offense since Pitt's opted out. They played LSU without Pitts and it ended up a disaster. I mean the offense looked okay, but I can't help but believe that they might have put one more score on the board had they had Pitts.
