And uh...we don't need YOU coming here talking smack on this SEC forum where you are not welcome, nor wanted.

So go away. And I would say take Bucki with you, but we've been trying to get rid of that lifeless goofball Suckeye fan for years, but he's like a freakun herpes virus; he don't go away and just when you think he has, he pops back up.

I think there’s too many things that have to fall in place for a team to go back to back. UGA is probably the last team you see do that for decades. It’s a lot tougher to run through the playoffs with 12 teams

would depend on the rules they would play by

For one, no shots to the throat.

And Bama is in the SEC and drew far fewer eyes on a later timeslot

LSU was the primetime game that night and again...drew fewer eyes than the premier program in the country. I know it's hard to accept that as a Bama fan, but you have kind of been irrelevant nationally for 2+ years now

The beauty of this playoff system is theres a decent chance we 'll get to find out how they do.

You also said Penn State would be undefeated in the SEC.

They haven't lost to an SEC team yet so I stand by that.

Mississippi State and Kentucky haven't lost to a B1G team yet. Would they both go undefeated in the B1G?

No argument from me. There’s a poster in here BuckI who starts most of this shite. He needs to cool his jets but it’s a free country. Personally I like the fact that SEC teams’ fans are able to strike up conversations on this forum. You don’t have the same type of generalized football talk on boards from other conferences.

Yet the SEC looks to have 4+ teams with one conference loss at year end

A&M
Bama
UGA
Ole Miss
Vandy potentially

If the conference was so good and so deep how would 25% or more of the conference have so few in conference losses?

It's the same story as it was throughout the 2010s, the conference has some really good teams at top, bunch of teams who the AP props up who aren't that good in the upper middle but are ranked higher than they should be, then the same deadweight at the bottom as every other conference.

Tell me what Tennessee has done this season that is different than what Washington has done? Or what makes Missouri better than Iowa? But Tennessee is ranked 14 and Iowa is unranked

My guess would be the same reason Ohio State could not beat Michigan last year?

By the same token, they have not beaten an SEC team, so that must mean that Penn State would go winless in the SEC.

You lost at home to a team that lost to FSU

And you lost to LSU (Who just fired their coach), a 3-5 Syracuse team and a 5-3 SMU team, so what is your point?

I mean, at least Alabama has only lost one game, and is ranked #4 in the country....

Maybe Clemson should sit this one out?
