So your opinion of Florida and Alabama is low, then? Amazing

No it's not but our expectation is to be right with those teams and anything less is unacceptable.

Roll your eyes all you want. You went out of your way to complain about the scheduling. That's fricking whining.

What I said:

You showed up a little late to the party, pal. I've already stated in this thread that I expect LSU's D to reload, but I don't see them being as strong in the front 7 as UF and Bama were last year.

Who's rushing the passer for yall this year, btw? Am I reading correctly that you're top 5 sack getters are now gone?

What you gathered from it:

quote:

we supposed to believe your front seven that lost its entire starting d line, Jarvis jones, alec ogletree is supposed to be better?

Yes, yes, that's exactly the point I was trying to make.

LSU has been to ATL less than UGA from 2008 to 2012 and they have the same number of national championships. Come on, guy,

wow.

LSU has won more games in the time Les has been the coach than any other SEC school.

The last 3 years LSU is 34-6. Alabama is 35-5.

quote:

Who? Oh, Ego, the guy with a grand total of 3 solo tackles last year and no starts? Oh, Jordan Allen, the guy with 1 career tackle and no starts?

Fack man, now I'm concerned.

They've been stuck behind great players who were older than them. Why do you assume they can't play?

No. People downplay Mett because he had seven games, COUNT "EM, SEVEN with less than 200 yards passing. That's is NOT good. That COULD be because the coaching staff did not allow him to throw more....but if they did not, you have to ask yourself, "Why didn't they allow him to throw more?"

Well I told you why for four of them. 2 of the others were in blow outs where he played very well and quit throwing because they were blow outs.

Also this is LSU. There were times where wed kill for 150 yards passing before mett.

What do you have to show for it? A lot of bitching about Alabama?

Yeah miles only has as many SEC titles as Richt in less time.

quote:

Also out of all SEC coaches with 100 games coached Miles has the higher win % of any one. Higher than Saban, Bear, and spurrier and for sure your underachieving Richt.

The winning percentage argument is overblown. Out of Spurrier, Richt, Saban, and Miles, who walked into the best situation? Please rank the state of the programs when they were hired.

Saban restored LSU then Alabama. Spurrier transformed Florida into a national powerhouse. What was Georgia doing before Richt got there? I just looked it up. Tennessee and Florida dominated their respective series against Georgia in the 90's. All Miles had to do was maintain an elite program that he had inherited, and he did a good job his first 3 years and these past 3.

#1. Do you expect to win this game?

#2. Do you expect your front 7 to improve?

#3. If so, why do you write off LSU's when your front 7 has just as much if not more spots to replace?

ETA: The people who will replace our DTs-freak and EGO had extensive playing time as we rotate a ton on d line. There was no drop off.

DEnd is a question mark. Rasco has shown a lot in the first two years getting playing time at a loaded position. Even had a sack in the SEC CG. The other spot will be unknown.

LB for the first time in a long time will be a strength and not a weakness. We played a ton of freshman there and they performed admirably.

You're the one who said LSU has just been absolutely reloading recently year after year. I'm just trying to figure out where the payoff is? Would anybody even be talking about LSU this offseason if Bama refused to acknowledge them?

Dude you look retarded right now

UGA clearly has underachieved and LSU has clearly been better than them as of late. Sure, take into account from 2008 how convenient of you.

just stop, it's not worth it

You can't use season worth of stats when we don't play the same teams. I use our common opponents that ranked in the top half of SEC defenses.

Arguing with LSU fans on this board is like getting involved in a land war in Asia.

Yet you refuse to acknowledge the bad to mediocre teams we had in common. If you're going to use common opponents then use ALL of them, not just ones that help your argument.

Well...we could start the "He did it with Saban's guys" and stuff like that, but really? They are both great coaches. I like them both, but given a choice I would take Richt. But that is because Miles seems to have more "HUH?" moments than Richt does. But, admittedly, Richt's do come at crucial moments. (Alabama) No disrespect to Miles...it's just a personal preference.

What? Les Miles inherited a 4 loss team. Not some great team. Also at LSU Saban lost AT LEAST 3 games a year , except once. It's not like Saban had LSU as some unstoppable force.

Have you even read what he's saying?

I mean I am the least homer person in my family when it comes to LSU, and quite frankly, I'm a pessimist.

But this dude looks foolish
