Any chance Saban would be interested?
Do they have a career long assistant that will inherit the job?
Do you consider that a 'plum' job?

Personally, I think Saban might be a possibility.
Don't know why.

I think he died in '78.

Al Golden (Temple coach) can be another candidate

He played at PSU, so he should get a look.

Don't think Saban would leave Bama for that job. When Kiffen gets fired from USC though look out. He wouldn't be able to resist Hollywood.

Saban has stated in the past that Penn St is one of his ideal jobs.

Sabans big thing is building a program. Once he has built it, he gets a bit bored.

Wheteher the Ala fans like it or not, this has been his past MO and certainly could happen in the future as well.

Past performance equals future results? Awesome.

That means Miles will F up a game via clock managment, Ole Miss will beat LSU, & Peterson will be on the sideline with cramps when it matters in the UA game. :fistbump:

I agree, all that is likely to happen. So is Alabama going after a retread with a Bear Bryant connection when Saban leaves.

Gumps pucker every time a high profile NFL or College coaching job opens up. I remember it so well.

Kirby Smart will be named coach in waiting when Saban decides to go watch the ducks shite in the yard..

Or we'll go with the 3rd cousin of the guy who sold Coach Bryant his Chesterfields. Either way we'll get a MNC. See '07 LSU.

That may well be true. Let's also revisit other predictions LSU and auburn fans made based on the past.

1. Saban won't be at Alabama in two years.
2. Saban can't recruit at Alabama like he did at LSU
3. Saban can't win at Bama like he did at LSU.
4. Saban always loses a game he shouldn't
5. Saban has never been undefeated and can't do it at Bama.
6. Saban will never win a National Championship at Bama.

14-0 Perfect season says otherwise.

Will replace Mark Richt. That's why he decided to stay at Bama, instead of taking the DC job under Richt.
