In boogers one and only great season, he go over 50% of his yards against the 128th and dead last rushing defense in Eastern Michigan, 127th in Texas Tech, 100th in USCe, 92nd in Syracuse, and WKU.

Holy shite. Who is saying he sucks?

No one. But since we don't worship at the alter of a player who didn't even show up to support his teammates at the senior banquet that must mean we think he sucks in corny dog land.

If LF goes to Carolina, then I think he will have an Elliot-esque rookie season. He will consistently be one of the best backs in the league early and often with a team/offensive line like that. If he ends up in cleveland, san fran, chicago or jacksonville.....IDK hopefully whoever it is will improve their line with the remaining picks/free agency. But I'm still taking Fournette straight up over henry to have a better pro career regardless.
ETA: And I'm sure its probably already been said through 7 pages but this whole "Fournette can't stay healthy" thing is simply not accurate at all. For the first time in his entire life he sustained an injury that kept him out of games this year. Never missed a game in 5 years of HS ball (started every varsity game from 8th grade on) and went 2 full seasons at LSU (300 carries last year alone) without even getting nicked. This year he played in 7 games with a high ankle sprain and averaged over 120 yards per contest. The fact is he probably shouldn't have played the first 3-4 games of the season and allowed the ankle to fully heal. Or at least after he clearly reaggravated it after Wisconsin. But of course Miles didn't do that in an attempt to save his job.

Well Henry didnt set that high of a bar for his rookie season
Posted on 12/27/16 at 8:42 am to pvilleguru

Like I said, he didnt set the bar very high

Ok? The OP said career. Henry averaged about 4.5 ypc as the back up to an established starter.
Doesn't seem too bad for a rookie #2.

You named 5 teams. We played 11 games. So, that's ~46% of our games. He got 51% of his yards in those games. It's natural that he would get a little more yards because of their poor defense, but it's not like he got all of his yards there. Actually, he's literally a 5% difference from being par for the course based on number of games played.
Again, I hope to God you're trolling, because if not...yeesh. Just don't procreate.

He's the #40 rusher in the NFL this season while backing up the #3 rusher. He had a higher ypc than 23 players in front of him. Sounds like he would have had a much better season if he was given the carries.
I've only watched one NFL game this season, but looking at all the factors, that's not a bad stat line. I think he missed one game due to injury, but I could be wrong. If you add his ypg to his total for the season to make up for the missed game, he moves up about 5 spots. He also didn't have any fumbles.

Trebek, give me short-form word for a player who can only get yards against bad defenses for $200 please (the narrative spewed in here).
What is the word suck?

quote:Dude, he had 425 yards and 4tds. I am not saying there are not reasons for it, and that he had a bad year, but he simply has not set a high bar after 2 year. And considering he will be behind DeMarco for a few more seasons, there is a chance his numbers and production wont be very good

Which in turn, will make it very easy for LF to have a much better start to his career. It is what it is. Aight?

If Fournette does as high as LSU fans say he will, the Henry because Fournette will get stuck behind a really bad OL.

I honestly predict one murder from a bama fan regarding the panthers if they do draft LF
