I assumed we were talking about the SEC. I agree OSU is the clear favorite otherwise.

I think Tenn could be really strong this year

If you're not trolling them, I agree it's possible. But they're not the team to beat.

If it's Arky or Tenn or A&M, by the time we figure out they were the 2015 team to beat, we'll all have lost to them already.

n the West, I believe it will come down to the teams that are usually at the top- LSU, Alabama, and Auburn. LSU gets Auburn at home, a big advantage, and return a lot of talent on the defensive side. Though Auburn has now another stout front 7 led by Lawson and the new freshman addition, Cowart. Death Valley will be ramped up for this game.

LSU-Alabama as always will be a tough physical match-up. With the West on the line more than likely, and the fact that LSU has lost the last four meetings, the intensity will again be high. I think Fournette will be one of the most improved players in the SEC next year, so watching him go up against Reggie Ragland in the middle will be intriguing.

Then of course the IB in Jordan Hare. Last time it was played here, Kick 6 happened and from there on, the stakes of the IB have never been higher. More than just bragging rights for state pride now. Atmosphere in JH will be electric as usual too.

I also agree,

On a national stage it is:

1) Ohio State

The rest: Baylor, Oregon, USCw, TCU, Alabama, Florida State, Michigan State

The team to beat this year seems to be Vanderbilt. They look to go into all of their conference games as underdogs and should get beaten quite a lot.

However, thanks to weird voodoo magic they should win one conference game no one thought they had a chance in.
