Prime has the early jump. Does Aubs even have a staff yet? Seems like I heard they’re struggling to put one together.

Freeze will undoubtedly be a better hire than Coach Sanders, considering Coach Sanders has proven zero at the big boy level of football coaching at this point in his life.

Just because he hasn’t done it yet, doesn’t mean he won’t do it.

Just means we don’t know if he has the capability or not.

I lean towards Coach Prime just because I dont believe Freeze will be at Auburn long. The exodus of fans over his hiring will be an issue I think. I had 2 different friends of mine that are hardcore aubies that called me the other day saying they wont be watching any auburn football anymore as long as hes there. One of them said its pissed him off so badly that he may start pulling for the tide just as a frick you to the university.

shite is getting real in the barn fan base.

The only part that makes me scratch my head about Prime to Colorado is who the frick wants to live in Boulder CO? I get that Mississippi isnt that much better but at least in Jackson they are only a few hours from the beach or New Orleans. Colorado is nothing but mountains and... well... boulders. How many 5 stars are looking forward to that lifestyle? I think he will do alright, I just dont know that he will get the players he thinks he will. Of course, I could be completely wrong and he may be in the playoff in 3 years too. You cant fricking tell in college football these days. The portal has made building a program a lot easier/faster.

What are we judging success by?

This my question as well. Colorado went 1-11 this year. God help him if Deon can't improve on that. I also don't think Deon is going to pull in top ten recruiting classes at Colorado. I think at the right place with some good NIL money behind him he could have racked up on the recruiting trail. But Colorado has little money and is in a geographic location where it's tougher to recruit?

Sure. LOL! Here's a question you don't actually have to answer because I already know the true answer. Could Alabama hire a coach that caused you to officially quit them as a fan and pull for Auburn? When you answer that question honestly to yourself you will realize it's BS coming from those so called Auburn fans as well. If I had a dollar for every time a local Bama fan around here claimed they were done with Alabama unless they fired Dubose or fired Shula or fired Curry, etc, etc, I could take a month off from work without losing a dime.

As with any coach at any school in the SEC Freeze will succeed or fail based on winning or losing football games. Period, End of list.

Boulder ain’t Jackson and CO ain’t in the SWAC. Prime going to find it tougher out West.
