What was I thinking? You should never criticize someone who can downfield block so, so very well.

Julio had a very good season this year, considering the QB he had.

Julio balled out this year. Anyone that wants to hate on him is an idiot. His hands were much better, his concentration appeared to be better because of the reduce in drops. His route running is 2nd to none. People that want to hate on Julio are pathetic. Give the kid some props, he has crazy god given ability.

That's crazy. I wouldn't think he would receive a 1st day grade from many, so that would make the jump a little odd. I think if he came back, he could improve his stock to a solid 1st day grade. I'm big into the NFL draft, and right now, I think he's a late 3rd at the earliest. More than likely a 4-5th rd pick.

I don't really get it either... strangely enough I think he realizes he's probably a 4th-6th round pick (hopefully not undrafted)... but will still make the move

Esp if there were a strike I'm not sure I see the return on this... you won't even have all that much of a signing bonus to live off while no games are played

interestingly, his hands were pretty much the same and was dropping a bunch of passes until he got injured, then it all turned around

Exactly. The only players that should be going to the draft this year because of the pending lockout are guaranteed 1st rd picks. Especially if you're an underclassmen.

In the games I watched, he wasn't dropping the routine passes like he was last year. He looked much improved this year.

Julio Jones. With a quarterback who inst afraid to throw it in tight spots and down field Julio will be scary!! This year he showed what he can do and plus he has a GREAT work ethic.

Lattimore is to slow to really be effective imho

so 248 for 1,200 and 17 on the ground + 26 for 364 and 2 in the air aren't effective? Did I mention he is a freshman?

don't kid yourself, hog

would rather have 178 for 1183. he's only a sophmore and really only got enough carries the second half of the season....plus played in 1 less game than lattimore. Lattimore isn't as good as knile and never will be.

Davis is not the same back that Lattimore is.Davis is good but Lattimore is special.Richardson is by far the best rb in the conference.Don't forget about micheal Dyer.He will get a lot more carries next year without Cam to take them.Do you Bama fans really believe Saban is going to let McCarron or Sims(I've heard that he will likely be the guy although it is way too early)throw the ball a lot? Will look a lot like the first 6-7 games of McElroy's 1st year.Better talents for sure but nowhere near as steady and the leader that McElroy was.

LSU will have a couple of guys step up and become big time.Rueben Randle(with a qb to throw it to him now;might be the most talented wr in the SEC)Also Micheal Ford.If Ridley leaves(looking more like it now with the grade issue)he will likely be the guy and has tremendous talent.

Davis only carried the ball like 20 times in his first 4 games. I think something like 40 times in his first 6 games. He avgs 6.6 yds/carry. Lattimore had WAY more carries on the season but only like 20 more yards (and thats with a whole extra game).

Fun fact:

If Knile had carried the ball as many times as LaMichael James had, he would be leading the country by almost 200yds. (...based on his ypc).
