I think auburn wins.

But losing 3 games in a row in the new Mercedes Benz stadium would be ausome.

Me. I don’t trust the PAC-12. Also it’s a home game for Auburn

Doesn't Auburn follow up 10 win seasons with 6 win seasons? Since A&M has joined the SEC Auburns finishes in the SEC West are as follows:

2012: 7th
2013: 1st
2014: 4th
2015: 7th
2016: 2nd
2017: 1st

Two times winning the division and two times dead last. Nothing surprises me with them.

Washington beat two Pac 12 Teams with winning records last year, and one of those teams was 7-6. They had Bama’s schedule without Auburn.

Does either team have a significant advantage in returning starters/major contributors from last season? I honestly don’t know but that’s something I would look at heavily in any closely matched opening game. If Washington has a significant advantage in retrners, plus The Peterson factor, they could win. We’ve been there and done that in 2011 albeit that Georgia team was not very good (the final 10-4 record was mostly “smoke & mirrors”)

Why are y'all acting like UW is some sorry arse scrub team? They have been pretty good for a while now. They have an excellent coach. Auburn has some serious questions on OL and in the secondary. And it's in a building where we've lost two in a row and we've all seen Gus derp it up trying to figure his guys out early in the year.

So in short, no, I will not be surprised at all.

AU by 14. Washington won't play in the trenches with AU and AU is much more talented.

Without AU, UA's opponents still had a .634 win %, which would have been 7th highest in the nation in terms of opponent's win %. As it stand, UA finished 6th in overall SOS and opponent's win %. Regular season obviously didnt work quite as scheduled based on things outside of their control, but it finished rather strong.

Udub finished 45th in SoS and opponent's win % (.559).

The sad thing is that the conference needs Auburn to win, but no other team's fans wants them to win, except about half of the LSU fans.

Sorry we don’t care about consolation prize bowl games. Washington will be a meaningful game so Auburn will actually play like they give a shite.

Washington returns a good bit a good bit on defense, though they did lose Vita Vea to the NFL. Browning returns at QB, but he struggles when he's pressured.

What was Bama’s most impressive regular season win last year?
