If I’ve learned anything over the course of the last couple months is that ole miss insiders don’t miss on their predictions ever

I didn't think anything of it at the time, but someone mentioned on another board that a family member of one of the LSU coaches allegedly said that Lane is aware that CWJ is going to the NFL and already has someone ready to take his place. That was before all of this became public.

So I guess you're gonna try to convince us Charlie is the real mastermind behind that offense?

Why didnt ole miss offer him the hea coaching position?

Because Golding was a better option. And he's already won more playoff games than Weiss or Kiffin.

Glad it all worked out for everyone.

That's already a party line.

Any idea who? This whole coaching calendar is absurd and has to change.

Because Golding is the one wanted the job more. Plus he has done a very good job during the playoffs run so far.

This is the best Ole Miss has looked in my lifetime. Kiffin is a good coach but makes some terrible decisions and missed weeks of prep.

I do not. I blew it off as a joke until I saw that report.

I like how both Charlie Weis Jr and Pete Golding Jr. simultaneously are both the reason for all the success.

So you're glad the first HC in Ole Miss history with three straight 10 win seasons is gone?

You're also glad that Pete Golding is now the HC and I'm assuming you think he is the reason for all of this success?

The way Ole Miss fans are poo pooing the coach that gave them the greatest stretch in program history is so fricking weird.

Even LSU fans could acknowledge was Saban did for the program before he left. It’s insane.

There’s no rationalizing with them. We’ve all watched a friend go through a break up where he’s talking trash about the chick he was just in love with. It’s a natural him and reaction. You just gotta let them process their grief and move on with life. Maybe they need to go hit a slump buster fatty or something.

Wait until reality hits them the next few years. It's gonna be fun.

Pete is more likely to end up like Matt Luke or Zach Arnett than continue the success they had with Lane as HC.

They know it-they are trying to convince themselves they are better off- but deep down they know it.
