Dyer got 20-25 carries a game under Malzahn and so did Oku at Arky State last year, from what I've seen he likes to use one main rb with another back coming in as a change of pace guy.

Seems like Payne already stepped up pretty well in Spring ball. Not sure how good Mason is but Payne seems to be the real deal

KF and JW need to be processed....

Nick Marshall will steal the job from Frazier.

CAP got a lot of hype because Mason had an ankle injury most of spring and Corey Grant missed the A-day game with the flu.

Malzahn will run you to death if you're hot (no homo). He doesn't like to sub when the offense is rolling (see B. Bielema). Therefore the the rbs won't get even carries
Yeah I agree that they probably won't.Who seems like the better all around back, Mason or Payne?

He does it out of necessity. With Dyer, he was really the only powerfull back we had. He will run a guy if he is hot, but he would much rather use a stable of guys, keeping them fresh. We have what seems to be a pretty good stable of backs, so the load will be shared unless somebody just goes DMac on the league

Yeah I've seen a few of his highlights, he does remind me a lot of Tate.

Hard to say, they're kind of the same back really. Nothing special, neither are burners or really shifty, no fireworks, just solid grinders.

I think Mason and CAP get around 15 each give or take a few.

Almost 3 pages deep and this thread is still showing class and maturity. But I'm sure I just jinxed it...

Yeah he's not on Cam's level, not many people are, but he seems to have a skill set that will be a good fit for the offense.
Which QB is the best runner between Marshall, Wallace, and Johnson?

Marshall is one of the most dynamic athletes I've ever watched tape on. Incredible runner.

Marshall for sure, reminds me of Menziel / Denard Robinson on his feet.

Come on, it was a nice subtle dig. UGA fans deserve those digs since 30% of the SEC West will be starting a QB that was kicked out of UGA this fall.
