I don't think he's always been a fraud, but the game seems to have passed him by and he doesn't seem to be the type who's willing to change his philosophy like the coaches who win for a long time do. Jimbo's offense doesn't look any different than it did when he was the OC for LSU. Can't play that way anymore and expect to do anything. Ask Les Miles and a host of other coaches who refused to adapt. If they hadn't had good defenses the past few years, it could have been a lot uglier. If Jimbo wants to get out of this hole, he needs to go find a good OC to establish a modern offense and completely hand over the reigns.

I think the Appalachian State coach would be a good hire. He obviously works harder than Jimbo and proved he can win over superior teams.
