Gump & Co. ...great book...falls short of the first one by a mile...but still great
Fighting in Desert Storm with a monkey was a stretch..but then again..what part of the series wasn't?
Never read a winston groom book I didn't like..
FWIW the Vietnam and WWII novels he does are pretty damn fantastic

Honestly, both were very average. No one gave a damn about them until after the movie, which alters their opinion.
How it became that movie is beyond me...
