Skip made college baseball what it is today. His hard work promoting college baseball changed the direction of how college baseball was looking upon. He helped made college baseball a money maker for the first time at many colleges

So Skip Bertman, a 5 time college world series winning coach is not in your top 10 college baseball coaches of all time? Hahaha. What a fricking dumbass you are.
This. Having Mike Martin in the top 5 ahead of Skip Bertman just because of win totals is stupid. Mike Martin was head coach for 40 years whereas Skip was head coach for less than 20. On the face, it seems like a poor troll, But I think the more likely scenario is that the Vol poster is just dumb.

Dedeaux won at a time when college baseball was nothing, not even close, to what it's been now for decades. No scholarship limitations for one. When was his last title? The 70's mabe ? Martin was a great coach, as noted, the winnest college baseball coach. In the ACC which for the most of his career, was weak to very weak. Zero national championships. Stephenson? What conference did he coach in? Another weak schedule conference. Polk at State is an all time great, as he & Skip basically built college baseball into what it is today. Skip's National Championships speak for themselves. His SEC championships. The ONLY reason he didn't lead the game in wins is because he was an assistant at Miami for so many years. He built LSU into the nation's attendance leader year after year after year. This list coming from a Vol speaks for itself. zero coach's name on anyone's list.

I played for Skip and you are fricking retarded. He is definitely top 5 because winning championships mean something retard.

Mike Martin- 2,029-736-4 record. All with same team. All-Times win holder.
Martin should not be above Ray Tanner.
Nobody who has no national titles should be ahead of someone who has 2 and 2 finals appearances.

for multiple national championships, runner ups, and consecutive post season appearances....yes 100%.
Tanner took a program that was good but was in decline. He took it to the next level.
Martin was good at FSU but you can't be great and not win a title

Mike Martin of FSU is currently the all-time winningest college baseball coach in Division 1 with a record of 2,029-736-4.
