I welcome people using common sense about the virus, even if it is 3 months late.

You know, I was going to fight you on your implication that something we didn’t have evidence based fact for until today was “common sense” three months ago....

But frick it, I’m just happy we stand a good chance of being able to watch a full season of football from the stands this year.

the WHO has been garbage on this but I choose to believe them on this because I want it to be true.

I still can't believe we missed march madness and will never get it.

I'll just say it was clear to me 3 months ago that we would have college football this fall, and you can choose to believe I thought so for whatever reason you want.

The only misleading thing is that we all experience symptoms differently. Only takes one headstrong a-hole with a mild cough and low grade fever to insist they’re ok and screw it up.

So... pay attention to your bodies and take care of yourselves and others. For football.

You also said the virus would be gone in mid April.

But let’s ignore that!

You having to resort to making shite up now?

I never said anything like that. I said it was almost over, and then the very next day Georgia announced it was opening back up, and other states followed within a week.

And I said that while everyone else was claiming we wouldn't have a season at all this fall, and then putting out the rest of those stupid scenarios.

So yeah, I'm pretty sure I nailed it.

I'd add another category of troublesome people, the ones who are so imcompetent with their health and/or are functional drunks such that they honestly dont notice when they have a cold/flu/covid

Ah yes, the “I’m not sick, I’ve just been reliving college for the past 48 hours in my 48 year old body” demographic.

On second thought, this welcome news may do more harm than good...

People believe what they want to believe and only think that because they disagree with what I have to say in the first place.

The supply of truth is always in excess of the demand.

Georgia opening up had nothing to do with the virus and everything to do with the economic impact of shutting down.

You mean they figured out the side effects were worse than the virus.

Georgia in no way had the lead on opening things up.
