What has he shown you that is he is capable of this? I sure the hell haven't seen it.

That's cause you don't WANT to see it...

Let's see in the only game where he was allowed to show ANYTHING..

He was 14-18 130 77.8% 1td

He did a great job running the O and showed a real quick release with accuracy... let's not talk about who it was against because, had he played poorly most bammers would be actin even worse than they are now..

To think Blake has no shot is pretty stupid.

Blake has a shot sure.

It won't matter, people jump the gun thinking Bama won't contend. Too much returning talent and experience everywhere else. A&M and LSU will have new QBs too.

Isn't Luke Del Rio the elite 11 walk on QB?

I've heard AJ say many a times that he's followed him around "like a puppy."

If he can put in the work and be a student of the game (helps that his dad is a lifer NFL coach), I can see him getting the nod.

However, I've always liked Cooper Bateman.

But for whatever reason, and I hate saying this, Nick Saban absolutely loves Blake Sims. I don't know why, but he does.

However, Nick Saban pretty much deserves the benefit of the doubt. If he put Anthony Steen under Center, I wouldn't question it. Saban knows what he's doing.

Isn't he black? It has been what, 15 years or more since Bama started a black QB?

I hate to be that guy but since we are on the subject of Coker....One of my roommates who went to high school with him and grew up with him just stayed with him this past weekend at his place to check out Tallahasee and said they talked about it.

My roommate said that when they talked about it he sounded like he was gonna go to Bama. He has been a lifelong fan and he is still talking to his girlfriend from high school who goes to Bama...

looks good for Bama..

I've been telling y'all this for a while now. The kid's coming to Tuscaloosa! All parties are aware of it and there are no problems.

Bama Fans want this guy...

Jacob Coker
14-27 213 51.9% 0 td 1 int 3 Sacks

Instead of this guy...

Blake Sims
14-18 130 77.8% 1td

They'd rather have someone's scrub that knows nothing about Bama's offense.. who also couldn't beat out the guy ahead of him..

Than a guy that has given everything and played every roll asked of him.. and coincidentally knows the offense..

It's not surprising how these rednecks don't even try to hide it anymore...

Pal, I'm just saying that the kid is coming to Alabama. Hell, I'll let Coach Saban make the call on who starts...he seems to be better at shite like that than me.

Andrew Zow in '01. And it will almost for sure be Blake Sims. They are priming him right now for it. With the running game we are gonna have next year we shouldnt have to air it out to often. I think Sims will do just fine.

I thought Zow was 98-99 with what's his name with all of the knee braces being the QB in the 2000-01 range...

Not sure. Probably Bateman. It doesn't really matter since our QB hands off and throws 10 yard outs and crossing routes. We just don't play offense around our QB.

Now, if you want to discuss tailbacks that can get pretty spirited since that's where our offense begins and ends. We HAVE to have a great TB every year for this offense to be successful.

It's going to be Coker.

Was one of the players I knew at FSU and being from the mobile area my parents know his parents.

His father confirmed just a few weeks ago he's going to graduate and is headed to Bama. He's better than any of the QBs Bama has coming back.

Dude has potential, if Saban can trust him I'd like to see him throwing to the Dynamic Trio we're gonna have at WR. Plus Howard, Fowler, Yeldon, Drake.

BRB gonna fap

While I would classify Coker as another pro-style QB, unlike QBs with comparable measureables (AJ or Mett), he has the speed to actually make a defense pay if they give him a running lane.

Kid works hard in the weightroom and is very athletic.

yet he puts up horrible numbers in garbage time.. yup Bama starter next year... he can't win the starting job at FSU but can just show up at Bama..

FYI Del Rio did the same training camp in California as Manziel this summer.

The dude has been putting in overtime in the off season to earn the starting spot next year. He will be the guy.
