Would like to start off by giving both teams props. Y'all are showing everybody what's what right now.
That being said, I think the skeletons start falling out of closets before too long.
Also, will Mississippi State give up their lame cowbells now that their team doesn't seem to need special treatment to get an advantage on the field?

When asked who would be a good replacement, his only suggestion was some new up and comer named "uhhhhhhhhh".
I love SEC fans.
There were occasionally some guys like this in the Big12, but the consistency of this kind of reaction and outrage is just glorious.

Realistic Bowl Opportunities: Best and Worst

Post the realistic bowl selections for your team that you...
1)think is the best (include ideal realistic opponent).
2)think is the worst (include worst realistic case scenario opponent).
3)think is most likely(include most likely opponent).
Thinking outside of the typical bowl rankings is encouraged (for example I would rather go to a "worse" bowl than the Cotton Bowl if it means getting an out of state game.

It sounds like having a car would make for a much more enjoyable experience, so it might end up being a Sunday-Sunday road trip with only a day or two in Columbia.

Next year will be my last year in college as an undergraduate (Victory Lap), and I'm planning on going to the A&M-USC game in August.
A few questions:
Is there enough to do there to keep us entertained from Wednesday-Sunday, or should we plan on coming back earlier?
Flights are at $380 round trip right now. Does that seem about normal, or will the prices go down if I wait awhile?
How early do hotels usually fill up? Do we need to be making reservations now?

I understand what you're saying, but when it comes down to it, those students represent their university.
It's not about saying "merry Christmas" vs "happy holidays". The administration is clearly concerned about how their institution is being represented .
I'm not saying it's right, but perception is reality in a practical sense. People do associate what they see on tv/general reputation with the organization as a whole.

Currently a senior Geophysics major at Texas A&M (going for a victory lap next year though)
I grew up in a burnt orange household, but my brother and I both ended up at A&M and have since done a pretty good job converting everybody to the good side.
