When making a choice like this, the key in this conference is in the trenches. What coach has shown that he can develope a physical offensive and defensive line.

You can have all the skill players in the world in this league, but if you cannot run the ball and if you cannot stop the run, you will not win.

Saying that, I give the nod the Coach B and Arkansas.

Over the last two years, he has put as many in the league as anyone apse around the country. I think are puns 2nd or 3rd most.

I think UT & AU will win 7 games next year. Not sure about Arkansas. They will be better coached and play harder, but looking at their projected starting lineup, they will be VERY young. Maybe win 5 or 6 games.

TN is a wild card considering in state talent is so low but if they can pull of a coach who can recruit they have the tradition and support

we were third in the country at one point playing the #1 team. We beat LSU and it's an arkansas bama title game. That was what espn said not what hog fans dream. Auburn's coaching hire is a TBD hire as malzahn hasn't proven he's capable of anything except that he can win the sunbelt as a HC and as an OC he is awesome when his talent is better than everyones.

This is a very valid point

Is Hogville's server down, again?

The Hog fans over here are starting to lose the sheep's clothing and sound like Hogville posters...

Who knows how good Bielema will be? The staff...only time will tell, but, all we heard last summer was "This assistant coaching staff is SO good, we don't need a HC."

I definitely think Arkansas fans have the most empty rhetoric. After last offseason where they thought they'd still win the conference with JLS leading them, it's hard to take their opinions seriously.

If we had won that game we would've been in the title game. Don't see how acknowledging that makes us like Hogville posters

I understand we were way wrong (way too hopeful) about JLS but in that paragraph he quoted there was nothing that wasn't true. We got stomped by LSU so there went that but it was still a fact we were #3 at the time.

Depends on what your version of Recovery is.

If you mean most likely to get back into the Top3 of their division, then it's Ark.

UT's new coach has an O/U of 3 years, he's not ready for this level of competition.

Auburn has a new OC/HC and years of solid recruiting, but we'll find out the first year whether that was really sCam's championship or Malzahn's.

Ark has the pieces and players in place and Butt Head proved he could win consistently already as a HC.

Arkansas will recover the fastest IMO due to the best hire. I just don't know if he's the guy to get them past Bama, LSU and aTm on a yearly basis.

UT. With a competent head coach and defense, they would have been a nine-win team this year. Talent wise, I don't think they're far off.

arky has a bette chance of being 3rd best west team thats back for them.

auburn has tye next bestchanc of competing with alabame. thats back to them.

tenn has the least chance of being bac. which would be to get chavis back and compete for natioal championships.

UT. Auburn and Arkansas are going to fighting for 4th in the West. Hard to recover when that is your ceiling.

Just 11 months ago, A&M had a first year coach and arkansas was coming off a top 5 season and a cotton bowl blasting of K-State. Who would've thought they could be 3rd in the West in 2012?

The people who think the top 3 teams in the West are set for the next few years aren't paying attention to history... hell, three different teams have won the west in the last three years... Auburn and Arkansas finished 1 and 2 in the west two years ago and now they won't be able to crack the top 3 in the forseeable future?

This is college football... things change on a yearly basis... granted, Bama-LSU-A&M look to be very good in 2013 and beyond, but I'd be shocked if no other team can crack that group in the next few years.

This is very true. We dont know how Gus Bus or BB will be. Hoping for a quick turn around is expected. The endless rhetoric coming from the Hogville posters is ridiculous.
