As was covered in the thread already. 60 plus points Tennessee put on Missouri in two of the last three outings. I have to repeat this because you Bammers are so stupid, and slow on the uptake.
You're on the way down. You might want to hold that mouth till you see how the season works out.
This dude is fricking pissed that Missouri has been better than Tennessee since they joined the SEC

Memphis certainly would have an easier path based on strength of schedule.
Strength of Schedule Rankings:
2024 - Memphis (40) - Tennessee (11)
If you look at SOS rankings over the last few years...you would see this is just a continuation of an ongoing trend.
2023 - Memphis (74) - Tennessee (13)
2022 - Memphis (70) - Tennessee (4)
2021 - Memphis (80) - Tennessee (22)

You need to broaden your horizons then
Mizzou has won a division the last decade and has more 10 win seasons than Tennessee.

Dude when you mock Mizzou it’s like beating up the retard kid in high school

The last decade isn’t going to replace the defensive losses Mizzou had in the offseason. Don’t let a fluke year by by Mizzou (a generational year for them) and a historical low decade for the Vols cloud your vision.

The only "circle" they are discussed more in, is this forum full of know-nothing fans.
Even that's not true. Scroll this board and find me a mizzou thread not started by a mizzou tan. Do the same with Tennessee.

Best Memphis can do is tie since we're in this year.

If Missouri wants to make it to the national championship playoff. They may want to transfer to AAC

The worst stretch in UT history. That’s not a reflection of the current situation.

Current situation? You won an orange bowl 2 years ago so you’re elite now? So did Kansas in the 21st century. You’re a mid tier program take a lap.

They've gone 8-3, 6-6, 7-6, and 10-3 since Norvell left.
In fairness, Memphis went 9-4, 8-5, 10-3, 8-6 and 12-2 while at Memphis.
Is there really that much difference? Take away 2019 and they look pretty similar.

This is the correct answer. Why they felt they had to cow tow to G5 teams, I don't know. If Tennessee and Memphis finish with the same record, Tennessee would easily deserve to go to the playoffs, but if Memphis is ranked higher....nope. Memphis goes. It's a joke.

But on this same note, I do think it’s kind of interesting that because of the Big 12’s automatic bid to the playoff, Oklahoma State is faaaaaaar more likely to make the playoff than the Sooners. Especially with Venables in Norman, OU is an 8-4 team at best and won’t make the playoffs. Oklahoma State just has to get past Utah.
All I have to say to this is, "GO POKES!!"!
