I'd go with the homer pick of Josh Jacobs.

Those moves are so smooth. He makes it look easy.

I think Jacobs is a fair pick, but you have several very good ones in the league this year.

Yeah, I'll take Benny Snell.

Right now judging by the eye test is has to be Medulla Oblongata.

I forgot about Crockett, he is really good.

Is a sophomore. He might be the best rb in the SEC next year though when be gets the majority of the carries. We'll just have to wait and see.

Jacobs is the biggest under the radar guy we've had in years. How he was such a lightly recruited 3 star, is a crazy story.

He's a great back who work definitely be in that conversation. Bama's front seven is already sweating a little.

Jacobs still stings. We were going to land him before High Commander Saban swooped in.
We would have signed Jacobs, Crockett and Strong in the same class. That would have been insane.

PASSING CP-ATT-INT YDS TD LONG
Jalen Hurts 28-37-1 347 4 67
you are right he can run too
RUSHING ATT YDS TD LONG
Jalen Hurts 11 100 1 60
He certainly doesn't have an NFL type of arm, but as you can see, he is enough of a threat throwing and running to keep the defenses honest. Bama is rapidly approaching that point where defenses will have to pick their poison, Hurts' arm or his legs.
Back to topic. It is hard to say who the best freshman running back is because few of them start and get enough carries to evaluate them properly.
