I've never seen someone so pathetically Volsessed that tries so hard to pretend he's using sound logic. There's no argument to be made that holds any water for many of his claims. I don't know why he can't just own the fact that he hates Tennessee with a passion and that hatred influences most of his posts.

I was mentioning examples of teams that Garrett has played and accumulated large sack totals against in the past, not necessarily in 2015. This was in response to a claim that Barnett only got great stats because he beat up on weaker teams. I was illustrating that a very similar claim could be made for Garrett. However Barnett has also had very productive games against good teams as well. I haven't watched a ton of A&M so I'm not entirely sure how impressive MG has looked against good teams. FWIW, I'm quite certain that Barnett, Garrett, and Allen (in no particular order) are the best 3 DE's in the SEC, and the stats seem to back that up.

Also I love how OS left the thread the instant he was called out on his bullshite.

Just as I expected, you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

Jon Allen
Garrett

Everyone else.

I

And I never said Barnett wasn't any good, because he is good. He wouldn't start on Bama's DL last year or this year though.

The only reason my ranking bothered some of you is because it's back by logic and facts.

Not at all. He is very good. He does t have homerun speed, but is a good runner between the tackles.

i would rank him 4th-5th best in the SEC.

Your rankings are based on bullshite.

quote:

Barnett (71/16.5/10)

quote:

Haynes (37/12.75/8.75)

Neal (43/8.5/7)

Wise (20.3/5.5/4)

Harris (37.5/11.25/4.5)

Brady (39/11.5/7)

Hall (36/7.5/3.5)

You can't even make an argument that Barnett is worse than any, much less ALL, of these players.

I already have for a variety of reasons. Sorry you disagree, but Barnett is also behind Tim Williams from Alabama as well, and Lawson at Auburn.

I don't see why this is so controversial. I don't see AnM fans losing their shite like you lunatics because I have Allen ranked ahead of Garrett.

You didn't prove shite. Also I can tell that you're upvoting your own posts.

Anyone claiming Barnett isn't a top 10 DE in the SEC is a fricking retard. Sorry that all evidence indicates he's top 3.

You admitted you haven't even seen Garrett play against good teams in this very thread.

Look, for the last time.

Barnett got 40% of his sacks against VANDERBILT and the UNIVERSITY of KENTUCKY.
He also plays against Mizzou ( ), USCe, an UGA with a terrible offense last season, UF with a terrible offense, plus the OOC teams. Even Oklahoma gave up tons of sacks. His defense couldn't get off the field, he had to play almost ever snap and got tons more snaps than players like Allen and Tim Williams.

You know what, fine. Barnett is better than Arden Key and possibly Neal but that one is a toss up.

There are several good ones but if I had to pick I would go with Garrett. Can't go wrong with a bunch of these guys though.

Cool. I'm sure Barnett is the only DE in existence that had good statistical games against chump teams...

Even if we cut his stats by 40% (as you claim) and make the assumption that ALL of the other players' stats were against good teams (as you seem to be implying, btw that's clearly false) the stats look like this.

Barnett (42.6/9.9/6)

Haynes (37/12.75/8.75)

Neal (43/8.5/7)

Wise (20.3/5.5/4)

Harris (37.5/11.25/4.5)

Brady (39/11.5/7)

Hall (36/7.5/3.5)

Even 60% of Barnett's stats are still better than the other players' full, unreduced stats in many cases. So not only is your argument based on a false premise (that Barnett is the only DE who stuffs stats vs chump teams); even with the supposed statistics of your false premise, your conclusion that Barnett is the worst DE in the group listed is STILL WRONG. Sorry.
