You’re inability to see the utility of this stat is mystifying. Guessing it puts one of your players in a particularly bad light.

Honestly for my team I would want Keyshaun Vaughn, the guy plays for a shite team, if he was running behind a real O-Line, watch out.

Same.

What's "mystifying" about such a subjective stat?

I've shot holes through it multiple times but will be glad to do it again.

Once again, define contact beyond a broken tackle. Running into your own man? Arm tackle? Glancing off the side of a defender? Running through his legs?

All the above?

What about teams that get a huge lead and run out the clock?

I'm gonna say Vaughn.

This graphic is from January but he continues to impress.

You haven’t shot holes through anything.

You really don’t think a large sample size diffuses these fringe aspects? The dude’s that have shitty YAC have the same parameters.

Your huge lead nonsense could be used to disqualify almost any stat

There yall go again settling Auburn as the Bar for being good.

... no one is doing that.

LSU is a passing team.

Those numbers simply show that LSU has a better run game than Auburn, who is considered a running team.

So to sum it up: LSU is good at everything.

I don’t know, but the last 2 SEC RBs to win the Heisman in the last 10 years were from Alabama. Josh Jacobs just broke Bo Jackson’s Raiders rookie record for yards gained. I think Bama’s RB situation is fine.

Are you aware that not one player you just mentioned is currently at Alabana?

We have no offensive line or Boyd would be talked about.

Your OL can’t be any worse than ours.

The best RB in the conference is probably capable of averaging more than 5 YPC vs Mississippi State and Northwestern State.

Just saying.
