He’s an ideal fit for Kirby’s system. His goal is to just not lose the game. Don’t take chances, don’t hurt UGAs defense.

Didn’t he lead the SEC in passing last year?

I agree and am not writing him off

Well, that's a load off.

No way in hell would I trade N1cO for Beck. Never in a million years.

Due to a couple extra games, sure.

I mean, take away the SECC and he’d fall just behind Jayden Daniels for second. Just to clarify, how many yards does a QB need to throw for to not be considered a game manager? Beck was around 4,000 at 9.5 YPA, so clearly more than that.

This is the perfect description of Beck's role. We will see what he is made of when they meet Alabama and Texas.

Garbage time destroyed this point 3 summers in a row. Why repeat failed points?

You had weeks to be a hero and actually do the analysis on this. You chose to whine about it instead. Are you sure you want to revisit this?

I didn't read the whole thread so maybe this was already addressed. Ohio State didn't let Ewers get away. He was never going to stay. He grew up always wanting to play for Texas.

Ewers was able to graduate high school after his Junior year. The way the laws were in Texas at the time, he couldn't get NIL money being under 18. He could in Ohio. So, he went to Ohio State, got paid for a year, and then transferred back to Texas.
This is the truth right here, he was never going to stay at tOSU unless by some miracle of events he ended up as the starting QB as a Freshman. He has always wanted to be Longhorns QB, even people who knew him as a youngster will back that part up. Same with Arch as well even if many Rebs and Vols don't want to admit it

Ewers was never going to start over Stroud and his heart belonged to Texas so it wasn't meant to be at Ohio State.

No offense, but Nico was:

16/23 211Yards 2TD and 2INTs in that game.

Hardly the thing that screams elite. Is he good? I'm sure of it, but his first test certainly isn't convincing of it. Highlights can make a lot of people look great. Oklahoma and Arkansas should be a better indicator.

About 275 a game 4 to 1 TD Int. 2 yards a rush, 4 rush TDs. Playing in a bunch of blowouts.

Ability-wise or stats? Dart has the best stats, and Nico has the most natural ability

Analysis of single uga vol game proved the point.

Just like analysis of the uga Michigan playoff game proved the same point.

You failed to discuss either game.

What couple of extra games did he have over Tennessee, for instance? Or Alabama? Or any other team that played in a Bowl game?

Yep. Uga has been a VERY consistent team over those 3 years. Hell, It happened again vs Clemson in 2024. More of the same early Garbage time.

So you believe that you provided almost 90 games worth of break down… when in reality you sorta did 1 game…
