Both are fighting to get there, tell me who you think it will be and why. TIA

Probably State if Moorhead proves to be as decent as Mullen was there. I only say that because State owns A&M and is their new real daddy.

Why would anyone think MSU is capable of winning the conference? They lost their greatest coach ever to Florida. Their new coach fell way short of expectations in what was supposed to be "the year". Now they're going back to rebuilding and will only have 6-7 wins next year.

Texas A&M is the likely pick.
But I doubt it happens soon.

LSU is now dickriding MSU in football.
Who would have thunk it?

Arkansas and the fighting Chads is the only answer.

A&M wins the SEC in 2020.

Agreed. Saban is still Saban. I think we could challenge in 2020 with an offense full of upperclassmen and a defense with upgraded talent. That and the schedule finally gets slightly easier.

If you weren't such a newb in the SEC you'd know that LSU has always had a big brother-eqsue relationship with Moo State; as they have traditionally been an automatic W for LSU save for the last few years.

A&M got a great coach and it is already paying dividends. Great development and recruiting.
But A&M still probably needs at least 2-3 more years. You basically have to beat Saban and the west will still be tough.

I'm just asking questions because A&M and state seem to be the ones making big jumps with their athletic departments.

I did think about including USC, but I think it's a bit more difficult ATM for USC.
STILL difficult for State & A&M too, but like I said, both of those schools have the "all in mentally" currently.
