Either Santucci and Robinson as co-DC, and hire a safeties coach, or bring in an established coach who runs the same system and is willing to work with current defensive staff.

If it was an in-house promotion I think they would have already announced it. I don't understand why they would delay that information being released. With how quiet its been, I think the new DC is still actively coaching. That's just my guess.
