Hatcher isn't our final level of Defense anymore! He can't win the game for you at linebacker. You got lucky at home last year with a better team, and you won't get close this year. Ya'll will be a challenge next year. Yes their is always a chance; just like us losing to Georgia in the SEC ship, but it's not likely.

can someone answer the damn question. Who is arkansas' best win.

I don't care what anyone says....Texas A&M is a damn good team, and they have a chance to beat anyone that they play.

They lost to OSU by 1 point (crazy 2nd half) ranked # 2 in the nation.
They lost to us by 4 after our remarkable come from behind second half. # 6 in the nation.
They lost to Mizzu in OT...another good team that gets no respect. They have had close losses as well to some of these same great teams.
They lost to OK in OK...# 5 in the nation
They lost a heart breaker to K-State after 4 overtimes by 3 pts. # 16 in the nation

Say what you will about A&M, but they are a good team. What that game demonstrated is that
# 1..you can't sleep on AR.
# 2..we have an incredible offense that can put up a lot of pts and fast.
# 3..when we are clicking and things are going right our defense can make stops and I'm pretty damn sure A&M is ranked 16th in passing, 16th in rushing, and 12th in the nation for pts. We made the right adjustments and shut em down in the second half.

The second half of that Texas A&M game is what everyone who plays AR should be worried about. That 2nd half we played to our potential on both sides of the ball. That 2nd half showed what we are capable of.

Hope this answers your question.

same way they barely beat vandy.

come someone refresh my memory about the Arky v Texas A&M game.

I was watching it but flipping back & forth with other games and was rooting for Arky to pull it out. I remember a flag on A&M for a complete BS helmet contact. What was the down & distance when that happened? I think it kept the drive alive and without that penalty they lose, but I'm not sure...

LINK

Hatcher was your MVP that game. See 00:47 mark ,and 1:13. He gave you 14 points and not to mention the punt that hit the camera wire.

Why couldn't the best corner in football get off a block? Why did Reid give up?

Better question. Why is Hatcher still giving up first downs (better than TDs) from the LB spot (better than S)?

We dont know either.

An Arkansas fan arguing that 5-5 A&M is a good team? I would get TORCHED by ANY Arkie fan for running this trash on them. Now they are defending us because it is convenient?

I have seen it all, friends.

(NOTE: I don't disagree with you. I just like it when other people argue on my behalf.)

Let's see 14 points at Bama, we put up 9. Ok, I'll give you this, your offense is 5 points better.

But LSU's D is 32 points better.

LSU by 27.

Same way LSU defended beating yall in the cotton bowl last year as a major accomplishment.

Since the boot is about the only current Arkansas achievement, Hawgeye, how about adding that to your sig line and stripping ancient history like championships?

AR is not the same team now that played AL. Not even close. Bequette and Wright bring a whole new level to our D. They are our best players on D. To say AR was flat against the Tide would be a huge understatement. Adams had his worst game ever. There were dropped passes, countless silly penalties, blown special teams coverages, and stupid turnovers that we couldn't overcome.

Our problem this year has been consistency and keeping everything together for 4 quarters. Our OLine has improved and has started to provide better coverage for Wilson which spells trouble for anyone if he is given time to look off first and second options.

To sum it up...we played like shite against AL, but we are much much better now. LSU has a great team. I'm excited for the game. I'm sure Petrino will have his boys ready by then.

No...TAMU isn't good.

But they were 14th when we played them.

I think they'd play Penn State pretty tough.

Oregon looked good against stanford, but I think we'd hang a hundred on that D.

Our opponents haven't helped us, but all we can do is win our games.

In answer to the question, our best win is probably Lattimore-less Carolina.

Good post.

Most solid reasoning I've seen yet. It only took us 5 pages to get there.

We actually had a shite ton of D out for the bama game but usually when we say that we get the "No depth and It wouldn't have mattered" responses. We have had a true Fresh DE playing until the Tenner game when DE was one of our strongest spots.

Your giving up 4.45 yard an rush.
Your at a +1 turnover margin Ours is 15
We actually have scored the same number of touchdowns
Arkansas 20 Passing 23 Rushing
LSU 18 Passing 25 Rushing
Is your offense made to score more points. Sure
Does it? Sorta
Have you beaten a team that is currently in the top 5?
No
we've beaten two.
have you won 3 of the last 4? Sure
have we won 6 of the last nine? yeah
