Perhaps the depths of the Bama/UT rivalry are lost on somebody like you. It's an Alabama/Tennessee thing you wouldn't understand.

Auburn for me- my parents being auburn fans made me despise them. Also, after they finally won in 82, no team ever talked more shite.
Tennessee close behind- too many got dam close calls with them over the years. If there was anybody to challenge our SEC supremacy it was them.
Saw the ops breakdown and its a little misleading. UT has had bad years in bunches just like the good years. When they have been good they were real good and when they were bad they were bad. Lots of teams that hover around 8-4, 7-5 consistently, skew those numbers. When UT is on, They are a national player.

Bama fans who claim UT is their biggest rival actually hate Auburn so much that they are willing to create a fake "bigger" rival just to try to belittle their true biggest rival.
This is so spot-on. Nailed it.

AU and UT are pretty even for me hate-wise. I look forward to the Tennessee game more though, it's so nostalgic.

I think it depends on age. Phil Fulmer changed that.
