I hope this shows the fanbase exactly what the USC sports program is, and how it's perceived.
No one worth a wet fart wants to come here. We saw it in the Muschamp hire, we saw it with the most recent basketball search, and we've seen it (albeit very strangely) in baseball. This is, at best, a middling program.
Now, for the life of me, I don't understand *why*. It's a small (but growing) state teeming with talent in football and basketball. It has rabid fan support. Top-flight facilities. But, the best we can do with our football hires is a guy who literally no one else would have hired, and two consecutive OCs that weren't on anyone else's radar.
It's maddening. But it's reality.

He was the most legendary holder we've ever had. Like 5th string QB. I'm being for real. He was known as the short qb/holder in his playing days.

He's an elite recruiter though. If we lose him, our recruiting will suffer.

How can you be a failed NFL OC for many years. Seems if you are an NFL oc for many years you haven't failed to bad. Perspective i guess.

Only the dumb ones. Chill out man, it's an OC hire. He's the HC, it's his job to figure this out. He just won 8 for you guys with wins over 2 top 10 teams, one of which was your arch rival. If this hire causes you to stop supporting him, then you were just looking for a reason.
