I do not think any graduate of AU feels like a little brother to bama from an academic standpoint. The only people who refer to Auburn as little brother are the redneck bammers whose only positive in their life is an association with Alabama Football.

alabama to everyone, SEC & beyond. there's no disputing their impressive resume, but the fact that they have to embellish it to ridiculous levels screams "pay more attention to us, please?"....

Ole Miss is like the small guy on the playground who tries to bully the smart kids but the smart kids just laugh at him because it is obvious that his bullying isn't based on anything at all, other than him wanting to feel superior to someone. Been discussed at length, pretty sure no one was ever able to track down that specific quote. Believe this thread was the closest anyone ever got.

Yes, Alabama has had tremendous success in every era of college football and I'm grateful. But are we all (fans) really any different? If your team had Bama's resume, would you be just as proud? Just as defensive? Can you imagine Arkansas fans after winning a NC?
I get tired of our "Got 12?, Got 13?, Got 14?", etc, shirts and question the 1941 title as much as any butt-hurt Auburn fan, but come on, it is what it is. I certainly wish some of our younger/newer fans could handle success better, but regretfully, isn't this the age we live in? And please, don't lump Updyke and the Tea Bagger in with the rest of us. I've been to just about all the SEC stadiums and campuses for games and trust me, you all have crazy, scary "fans."

Don't let them fool you. 2000-2500 of their enrollment figures are at UMC which probably has more OOS and MS State undergrads as they do OM undergrads.
