You're wasting your time. Bama has little to no HFA so they are naturally going to crap on anyone elses' because they can't claim they're the best. Nevermind countless testimonials from players/coaches to the contrary.

holy frick i just gave you an example of when our HFA changed the game and we lost anyway and you're STILL using this tired argument?
I still don't believe HFA had anything to do with that game.

I know this may be hard for you to understand, but until recently, Bama was much better than LSU so it makes sense yall would beat us. To make our stadium overrated, how many times has Bama beat us there with Bama being worse or equivalent to LSU. Like i said, this may be difficult for you to grasp
Since 2000, which includes some lean freaking years for Bama and some great years for LSU, you are a whopping 4-3 in Baton Rouge

I know you are trolling slightly, because I have seen you have a brain in other threads. But i think some of the other Bama fans in here are just droolers that cant comprehend anything unless followed by a rahhhhllll tyyyde
because your argument is "feelings" people have

I'm actually just getting WAY too invested in this because it's a pet peeve and a slow day at work

Also never mind that LSU has lost one home game in the last four years, and that was on a busted play at the very end of the game. HFA is a lie because Bear beat up on unremarkable LSU teams in the 60's and 70's. Don't you know that?

I had a great time in Auburn, but Jordan Hare Stadium is way overrated. I went in 2010 when Cam Newton beat LSU with his Heisman highlight run.
I could easily hear the person next to me speaking clearly. It wasn't that loud at all.
There was, however, a lot of pom pom waving.
Same goes for BDS. People would rather wave pom poms at Jordan Hare and BDS rather than scream at the top of their lungs like they do at a big night game in Tiger stadium.
So, in my opinion, put down the bitch arse pom poms and start screaming. Otherwise, y'all will stay overrated in my book.

What is really overrated...
is home field advantage in general.
Only very rarely does it actually affect the outcome of the game.

quote:The years we lost, yall were clearly better. 2008, no question, but our homefield brought us to OT with an 8-5 team. 2012, no question(but our homefield made it closer then it should have been in my opinion once again). 2002 with our third string QB, no question. Why can you not comprehend this?
you are a whopping 4-3 in Baton Rouge

LSU has been better than just about every team they've played over the last 4 years. They should have won just about all of those games.

Why are there so many posters here more concerned with another team rather than their own?

THe subject is overrated which is why no one is shitting on au's HFA because theirs is not overrated.

2 of those 3 were in 2008 and 2012, hardly lean years from Bama. In 2008 you needed OT to beat the worst LSU team of this millennium.

The noise difference on the field is minimal.

Yep.
I can't remember exactly which game this was. It might have been like West Virginia or something. But the opening drive we get the ball, get like one first down and punt it down inside their 15. Their offense comes out and the crowd is going nuts. Their LT jumps offside. Line up for the next play, their LT jumps offside again. Line up again, their LT blows his assignment and their QB gets sacked in the endzone for a safety. Crowd goes bonkers. Offense comes back out jacked as frick and goes right down the field and scores.
I'm not going to say the crowd gets credit for all 9 of those points, but to say the crowd didn't have anything to do with it at all is just asinine.

Not a very good window to reflect home field advantage today.
The last 10 years would make more sense.
