I went to both Auburn and Florida this year...and I must admit that Auburn was louder than Florida
A buddy of mine was listening to the Tennessee/Florida game on the UT radio network, and he said that the UT announcers said several times near the end that they had better get ready for the loudest stadium in the conference that next week when they came to Auburn. Of course that was such a suck game 9tickets were selling at $25 day of) that it wasn't nearly as full or as loud as it should have been.
The LSU game this year was about as loud as I have ever heard JHS, with maybe the exception of playing Bama and then the 2004 UGA game.
Outside of JH, I've only been to two other active SEC stadiums - UGA and Vandy - and neither really stood out to me, although I did like the little grove of trees outside Vandy's open endzone. I went to Legion Field back in the early 90s and that place was a dump.

Sanford Stadium is pretty solid, the problem with it is the same for many other schools, the rising ticket prices and the folks that have had tickets forever are getting older. That in turn means more people asking everyone to sit down and such during the game. The original blackout (insert joke here) vs Auburn was as loud as any stadium I have ever been in. However, game to game, I wouldnt say it as loud as what I heard at Auburn, or the legend of Tiger Stadium (was there this year for the UGA game, with UGA scoring early and a lot of folks leaving before it became a better game later, it wasnt super loud).
I really hate the people that want the crowd to settle down, sit down, and be quiet by the way.
Based on what I have seen and heard (and I went to UT prior to the renovations, so in my mind it is still pretty bad):
1. Jordan Hare
2. Tiger Stadium (at night, on tv it looks like lives are at stake, just awesome)
3. South Carolina...yes a surprise, horrible location, but when that damn rooster would crow early in games (before the realization set in), that bunch would get LOUD.
I went to a Bama game in 02, the last second FG win for UGA, and it was loud, but it was also 100 f'n degrees so it took some of the luster out of the crowd.
Never been to the swamp, as we always go to Jax.

Bryant Denny is under construction to complete the south endzone and I think it will be one of the best when they are finished and it will take our capacity to about 103,000.

Didn't they use South Carolina's stadium to film The Program starring Halle Berry, James Caan, and Omar Epps?

I will leave Jordan Hare out of the mix......
Loudest overall - The Swamp, my ears hurt after being in there.
Loudest at one time - Got to be that damn Tiger Stadium on several occasions of which I will not mention.
Nicest - Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. Nice stadium, nice area around it.
Suckiest - Neyland, even when the Vols are doing well, it's not that loud.

Wow. I guess its cuz they played LSU and not a SEC East team. That place was very disapointing when I watched them play LSU this year.
