Arkansas played the toughest sec schedule of the three.

There is no question that LSU has the best resume. Are you sure you are not looking for reassurance?

Right now it’s LSU. If Arkansas beats the Tigers it will be Arkansas. Think what you want but head-to-head wins late in the season will carry more weight than wins over teams like Oregon or West Virginia early in the season.

I never once said Arkansas was overrated FWIW, so not sure where u got that

Interesting that you say that, because if Arkansas wins Friday, Arkansas will have exactly the same number of late-season elite road wins as LSU....one (1).
So where do we go next to break this dead-lock? ...Oregon?....West Virginia?...Texas A&M?...Ole Miss?....... you tell me.
I realize it sucks to be Arkansas. It's hard to accept the fact that even with a win at #1 LSU, you have merely equaled LSU and Bama's record. It's difficult to understand how a three-way tie could be broken in a way that left you at 3rd. I understand all this ... But you can't change what happenned this season. Whether it happenned in Sept, or October, or November, it happenned. And at some point you'll have to come to grips that even though you may have found a way to tie LSU and Alabama, you still didn't perform as well and at as high a level as either LSU or Alabama over the course of the entire season against a weaker schedule. It's tough, I know... but you will get over it at some point when emotion dies and rational thoughts resume.

At this point in the season, the wins over UO and WV don't hold water.

Hold water over what? I don't follow...
This is a thread about resumes. What exactly are you comparing (or not comparing) Oregon and West Virgina to?

Brad Edwards not only saying LSU will win the 3-way tie, but saying that it is pretty much assured that LSU will win the 3-way tie....
quote:
"When the (BCS) standings first came out and I had a look at the actual rankings in the computers, I didn’t have the same perspective I had once the computers posted their rankings on their respective sites and you see the point gaps between the teams.
“My belief is that after a loss to Arkansas, LSU would still be two to three spots ahead of Arkansas in most of the computers. That means if Arkansas beats LSU and Alabama beats Auburn, Alabama moves to No. 1, Arkansas moves to No. 2 and LSU to No. 3 (in the human polls), I think the computer advantage for LSU would keep them in the top two of the BCS. That would not only keep Arkansas from winning the tiebreaker over LSU (for a berth in the SEC title game) but allow LSU to win it over Alabama.”
“The more I look at it, the more I’m convinced that it would take a pretty unlikely scenario for LSU to fall out of the (BCS) top two with a loss.
“The computer advantage for LSU over Arkansas would be enormous. Arkansas would need to beat LSU so convincingly that most of the voters would move Arkansas to No. 1 over an Alabama team that beat them by 24 points (38-14 on Sept. 24), and almost every single voter would have to drop LSU to No. 3. If Arkansas is on average one spot better than LSU in the polls, I don’t think that would be enough for them to hold on because of LSU’s computer edge.”
“I expect LSU to go to the SEC Championship Game win or lose — obviously win — unless Alabama loses. It’s hard for me to see LSU losing a three-way tie to Arkansas.”

The question is moot; It's LSU- because we simply ain't losing to Arkansas or anybody else this season.
Ka-Blam!

The correct answer is 12-0 LSU.

Personally, I think LSU wins big Saturday.
But nonetheless, if some miracle happens and Arkansas does win, it's apparent to everyone outside Arkansas that LSU should still be in the Top2 with a loss....arguably should still be #1 among the three tied teams.

If we are talking about an SEC tiebreaker (not a national, or BCS tiebreaker), I think there are two things that favor Arkansas over BOTH LSU and AL.
First, AR played both on the road. AL got both at home, and LSU had one on the road and one at home. So they would rank like this:
AR
LSU
AL
Second, AR had the toughest SEC (only) schedule. The west teams all balance out. The SEC records of the east teams the three have faced, rank them like this:
AR - 9-14 (.39)
AL - 6-17 (.26)
LSU - 5-17 (.22)
Obviously there are a couple of games left to be played, which could change this a little, but I think AR pretty much has the top spot locked up.
Now, this is not a comparison for the BCSNCG, just for the SEC. If you are looking at a BCSNCG record, then I think you should include the OOC games, which would put LSU on top. But for the above reasons, (with a win over LSU) I think AR should go to the SECCG and if they win that, they have to be in the BCSNCG and play LSU (since they beat Bama at Bama).
