#1 team can't close out the series at home. Less than stellar starting pitching and multiple errors committed. Definitely won't be ranked number 1 after this weekend... I would think that has to be a hugely disappointing start when some many Arky fas were so, so excited about opening weekend and their claim to number 1.

I'm gonna have to agree with MaroonNation on this one... TCU is awful.. They have zero chance of advancing to Omaha... Portland, on the other hand, will probably be the #2 overall National seed behind the Bulldergs by season's end.

How is this even debatable? OM by far had the best weekend! Who cares whether you you played 3,4 or 40. TCU is better than Portland

4>3, correct?
Quality over quantity.
Again, it's Portland.
A team that finished middle of the pack in a top-heavy WCC. LSU had a more impressive outing than State by never trailing versus an ACC team.

Not saying that at all. What I am saying is State had the disadvantage of having to play Friday, saturday and two today. We have swept three and are going for 4. How many other teams in the SEC have played 4 this weekend. We damn sure exceeded what the #1 team did.

TCU is awful.
Do you know much about college baseball? TCU knocked us off last year. They are not great, but far from awful.

I don't think LSU was the most impressive because I didn't (nor did the OP) watch every game. It's the first series, it's way too early, and LSU still has a lot to work out.
At one point LSU scored all of 1 run in 15 innings.
Pitching and defense looked great all weekend though.

A&M was more disappointing than Arky.

They were swept so I have to say they had the least impressive weekend

Western Illinois had the best weekend by far. They stole a game from the best college baseball team of all time.

I can tell you right now that if we got swept by Southern Miss I would be a helluva lot more embarrassed than I am right now
I'm not saying you don't pay attention to college baseball, but Southern Miss is a legit program and has sustained success.

Lol at some State fans trying to argue 4 wins over frickin' Portland is "more impressive" than sweeping TCU.

Rebels most impressive
Disappointing could go to arky or Florida
