Who got to see a live game - Tell itPosted by Bama2020

Ole Miss v Bama
I go to a couple few games each year and felt very fortunate my gf scored some tix off the OM ticket website a couple weeks before the game. Honestly didn’t think I’d see one all year with the attendance restrictions.

Attended the Bama/A&M game with my niece. Her father (my brother) and his wife used my tickets for the Bama/Georgia game. All of them plus my nephew attended the Rose Bowl. He's a student and attended a few at BDS.

I went to the Ole Miss-LSU game in Baton Rouge for the first time.... I'd also rather not talk about it
Edit: Also went to the Egg Bowl with my dad! That was fun and the stadium was definitely filled beyond 25% for that one.

SEC championship. It turned out to be a great game. Florida came to play.
I have to admit it was nice having no line to get in the stadium and no lines at the bathrooms and concession stands. But it was still a little weird and empty. And there were a few over-zealous workers walking around telling people to pull their masks up (even though people were very separated).

I was about to comment on the fact that a certain fan base is conspicuously absent in this thread

Not SEC, but went and saw my Falcons get rocked by the Saints in New Orleans on my buddy's bachelor party in Nola (he's a die hard Saints fan) and it was a horrible experience. They have a "mask guard" who literally stands with a sign that reads 'WEAR YOUR MASK" and watches you like a hawk and will walk up to you and tell you to cover your face even if there is nobody within 4 rows of you. I will likely not attend a game until this BS is over, sadly.

I got to see the A&M/LSU game due to Covid and weather. Ticket holders in a private box bailed. They offered the tickets for free...drinks and food all ready set up paid for...wanted someone to actually partake. Lol..it was great.

None this year. Several every year prior, if there was a business reason. I haven't been to a game for myself in almost twenty years
Seen some great games though

It was nice not having a shitload of people, short lines at the concessions and tall-boys sold the entire game.
