Well last time they had to settle for the SMU coach and their current situation is more dire than when he was hired. So, i’m not worried......at all.

I don't think it really matters much. I just hope for the sake of the conference that they get better.

You need someone who can put out the forest fire your dumpster fire grew into, and start laying the foundations for the program to be successful.

Most fans would waive the buyout if Arkansas hired Malzahn. Some might help him move.

How can you get anyone to come play for Arkansas at this point?
Really tough spot. They need a foundation builder. I don't know who that is, but they are at rock bottom. Like Kansas without the Ar.

They have plenty of options. They need to hire a proven head coach. Chad Morris was not, he was a home run guy with no experience.
Honestly firing Bielema was dumb. That’s the type of guy they need. Arkansas’s expectations should be a bowl 3/4 years and a 9 win season once or twice a decade when a good experienced Qb is there. Beyond that is unreasonable given their recruiting base.
Same thing with Auburn fans. We should be very happy with 9-10 win seasons. This idea that Gus sucks is laughable. I don’t want to increase his pay but he should not be on a hot seat.
