Then we have Kiffins massive buyout. UF can pay that too? They won't.
Massive? If UF took Kiffin they would owe Ole Miss 3 million. That’s nothing these days.

I think this one falls more on players not being disciplined making dumb decisions remember 2 tds and a dropped one. The plays was executed well just those penalties

Facts you remember it was a similar incident last season vs Miami SMH. Man I’m not sure, I actually like Napier, but if this wasn’t a wake up call don’t what it is.

He's not leaving Vandy for another SEC or P4 program.
Maybe NFL

I hate Napier. He refuses to hire an OC, constantly makes excuses, he sucks as a HC,He sucks as a play caller, average recruiter(See his class rankings, he is not elite at all), terrible HC(see his freaking record). So screw him..he will be insanely rich now for a .500 record

Chad Morris has learned his lessons and has the plan to get his offense rolling

The business of college football has gotten a whole lot better at calculating the long-term cost of keeping the wrong coach and schools are no longer afraid of big buyouts.
Knowing the inevitable outcome the Gator athletic department must answer two questions.
One: when does Florida pull the trigger and hand the reins to an assistant coach who will take over on an interim basis for the remainder of the season?
Two: who does Florida want to pursue?
As for when to fire Napier, I think they keep him through the Miami game after which they use the bye week to let the interim guy take control and prepare such as he can to play Texas.
If he loses to both LSU and Miami the UF administration won't take heat from the fanbase because it will be ample justification to fire him regardless of the buyout.
A downside to this strategy is if Florida wins both games firing Napier will be a bad look.
Assuming Napier is gone who do the Gators want to replace him?
Lane Kiffin is at the top of the list followed by a whole slew of candidates who fall into the Interesting category such as Jedd Fisch (Washington HC), Glenn Schumann (Georgia DC) and everyone's favorite whenever a tier 1 job opens up Matt Campbell (ISU HC).

New coaching hires will start making nil deals part of their negotiations....schools will have to promise coaches will have x amount of dollars to work with.

UF is cooked under Stricklin and no president.

I know from where you're sitting it looks bad, but Florida is a "too big to fail" school. Lots of important people connected to that university that won't let it get out of control. The good news is I think youre at rock bottom with Napier, so its only up from here.

Jimbo Fisher needs another 70.

I will say there is more of a foundation for the next HC than Dan left for Billy
