Look at you with your fancy little video editing...

Let us take a look at the same play 2 seconds sooner though:

Playing pretend is fun!

It's the same as the gif, he is looking straight at him when he starts moving.

Was he or was he not all in disarray right before the snap?

Dude wasnt even in his stance.

Facemask leads to a punt return TD

Hell it's a penalty for a reason, but in the LSU world it's "giving a free a TD".

Stingley is looking at the sideline when the ball is snapped

Before the ball is snapped and is turned around before DeVonta starts moving. Even still, doesn't really matter. That's just being outplayed.

Again, what's your excuse for the 2nd one that was just like it?

Aranda calls press coverage with 1:00 left for no reason. Should've been in prevent.

Oh here it is. So it's because he called the exact same defenses as the one previously, but yet you attributed that one to him not looking. Interesting.

At any rate, if he had run a prevent defense you guys would have bitched about him not doing what was working all night long after Alabama marched down the field to wide open guys underneath.

He was still turned back around before Devonta moved. He just got beat off the line, and again it wasn't the only time that night it happened.

What stance was he not in? He's a DB, not a lineman.

If you think I edited that gif, you extremely underestimate how lazy I am.

His head is still turned towards him when he starts running no matter where you start the gif.

Are you retarded? Like seriously. Defensive backs have stances too.

Watch the gif, Stingley is never set, therefore ready.

Well when the facemask slings you into the open field, yeah

Yeah, the one he was in.

That's what they call a broken tackle. Once again, leave it to a LSU fan to call a broken tackle on a facemask as a "free TD".

Because the other 10 guys also just did nothing.

Very true! Your lack of desire to also open your eyes to watch the 7-second clip to see Stingley JUST turning his head back around as the ball is snapped is telling.

You should work on that laziness.

You should watch the gif again very carefully. He stands up out of his stance and never gets set again.

Waddle was going the entire other direction before the facemask, it changed his entire course.

They even said on the telecast that he likely doesnt score without the facemask because there were tacklers were he was going.

Texas was down 14 with 1:20 left.
Scored to make it a 7 point game.

A1abana was down 12 with 1:20 left.
Scored to make it a 5 point game.

That. Is. Garbage. Time.

The linked video was better than your gif.

The claim was - Stingley was looking at the sideline when the ball was snapped. It is very clear he was not, unless he was looking at his earhole and it was only his helmet that faced back towards DeVonta.

If he had been looking at the sideline, he would have saw DeVonta run by him on that side and been even further behind.

If you want to say he wasn't ready for the snap and for him to take off, that's fine. But don't tell me he's looking at the sideline because you need a lame arse excuse to avoid admitting he got beat.

If that's all it was, how do you explain the other time it happened?

Are you going to make up some stupid excuse like the others? Garbage time while your starters are in? Wrong defense called, even though it's what you ran in the gif?

I'm sorry you're so late to the party but this has all been discussed ad nauseam. Bama noticed on tape that LSU would change their play if the offense changed the play and when they did, LSU looks at the sideline. This was all done on purpose.

Except the gif and the last play are two different times in the game. You dont play press coverage up 12 with 1:30 left. It was a bad coaching call, much like Saban trying to press the issue at the end of the first half.

The video you linked was better, too bad they don't allow embeds here.

And he's in the same stance as always, all he does is turn his head. He doesn't stand.

I didn't

He got beat.

Ref: NFL AP Defensive Player of the Year, Stephon Gilmore's game vs Miami last year.

It happens to the best lockdown corners on occasion. I'm not particularly worried about a Fr. being beat in his 3rd career SEC road game.
