Yeah it hurt watching him run more yards than any freshman in lsu or BAMA history

Fact check before you get all worked up and start using the bold function Ricky. Yeldon ran for more yards on fewer carries than Fournette as a freshman

Will you promise to actually use stats then or will it still be "Fournette just looks like he should be better, I know Chubb is better from every objective standpoint but I think Fournette is just better"?

This season, Nick Chubb was in a class of his own in the SEC. The only RB comparable to Chubb this year was Tud.

LSU fans trying to say their preteen is going to win Miss America because they think she could be hot later in life.

Answer is obviously Chubb. Buga is a bust. I would take Elliot on my team too.

The all time LSU freshman season rushing record holder is a bust!

Ok, he got most of his yards after SEC play began. The guy ESPN calls a H. Walker type player. I'll be he bust all over defenses in the next 2 years.

So did Chubb. A whole lot more than LF got.

ESPN compares anyone that runs someone over a "Herschel Walker type player"

Without the preseason hype, this discussion doesn't even happen.

Can the LSU fans ITT just collectively admit that they are permanently on the jock of their messiah rb and will not detach under any circumstances? Just a little acknowledgement of what's happening here and I think we can call it a thread. I mean, were at 11 pages of definable proof that Nick Chubb has just been flat out better than fournette and yet every page is polka dotted with "yeah, but..." arguments from the fournette camp. It's ok, guys. For every bo jackson there's a Herschel who is just better.

The biggest thing is the question was "who be da better running back?", not "who has the most potential according to HS rankings?" I'm more than willing to admit Fournette is a very good player, and could be the best in the NCAA next year or the year after. But as of now, there's not really a good argument you can make (especially with statistics) that Buga is a better player than Chubb.

Let this sink in...
Nick Chubb (in the 8 games he started)
AVG 165 yds/gm, 1.6 TDs/gm

Leonard Fournette's best game as a FR
146 or 143 yds and 1 or 2 TDs.

Nick Chubb averages a better game than LF's best game so far.
