I'm sure Arkansas fans didn't hype any coach they may have hired from Wisconsin before he ever coached a game in the SEC either

he also gave up over 500 yards to Bama
and 59 points to ohio state. If you look back at wisconsins schedule over the last 3 years, pretty much every team that had a reasonably good offense (and they didn't play many, terrible, terrible football division) put up yards and points, and then wisconsin had a bunch of shutouts vs the troys and rutgers of of the world to get their defensive rankings high

And how many points did the vaunted Alabama defense give up to that Ohio state team?

Only played 2 teams regular season with an offense ranked in the top 50. Aside from that the average offense ranking was 96th out of 127.

Good God and here we go. Pissing contest again. How many yards did Alabama give up against Ohio St? A&M the last 2 years? Ole Miss the last 2 years? Give me a fricking break. Call a spade a spade if you going to start shouting out yardage that Aranda's Wisky's team gave up a game or two here or there. Name me one DC that has not done that from time to time. It happens!!

Aranda didn't coach those teams. Now if Bama had played the Troy's, Hawaii's, Miami (Oh),Minnesota's and Purdues, we could compare.

I think Chavis is the only one that I would consider easly better than the rest.

Bob Shoop produced elite defenses at Vanderbilt and Penn State. I don't expect that to change at Tennessee

Yessir. And he has more talent than ever before with this year's defensive roster.

So is the title of the OP how many NC's you have over the last 7 years? Stay on the topic here, but that is impossible to do on this site

Can we wait until Aranda has coached a game before crowning him?

Ask Bielema if SEC is tougher than big 10.

I am not up to snuff on all the DC's, OC's in the league. I don't know if you can put Aranda in there as of yet being he hasn't coached a down in the SEC.
