Based on my personal experience - LSU. I sit directly in front of opposing fans in Tiger Stadium. It amazes me how so many opposing fans complain about how bad they were treated in TS, yet I see first hand how badly many of the visitors act at almost every SEC game - trust me - LSU fans are cool - at least in my area.

Tennesse fans were quite gracious after we kicked their butts in 2001,2006 & 2007. Bama fans are usually complimentary in defeat (or were before Saban ).

LSU fans are great. My trip to TS was one of the best. Bama fans are usually pretty cool and would be my second vote. Florida fans are by far the worst. Gainesville is a terrible place to go see a game as a visiting fan.

Best: MSU, Ole Miss, and Arky (road trips)
Best Smacktalkers in a non-hostile way: LSU hands down. Hanging 50 on that arse in TS and watching that fire drill in the 4th was worth the price of the trip. I have seen a lot of LSU fire drills lately when UGA is involved in football.
The group that best defines inbred rednecks: Tennessee
Group with the little brother complex: AU. Just mention Bama in a conversation with them.
Most insignificant fanbase: South Carolina. They play second fiddle in the home state to an ACC team.
History Channel Fanbase: Alabama
Best: MSU, Ole Miss, and Arky (road trips)
Best Smacktalkers in a non-hostile way: LSU hands down. Hanging 50 on that arse in TS and watching that fire drill in the 4th was worth the price of the trip. I have seen a lot of LSU fire drills lately when UGA is involved in football.

LSU fans were nice at the chick fil a bowl. Even though they were taking us behind the barn shed they were respectful. Had more than 1 LSU fan apologize for the fake punt.

Some of the GT fans were probably stunned to see some fine ladies for a change. We don't have many here at tech.

And I've only been to an away game at UK in 2006. It was the 4OT game. They actually were pretty nice. As stated, the same cannot be said about basketball.

Tennessee for me. I have Vandy season tickets and drove to Knoxville for the UT game 2 years ago. Vandy missed a last second field goal to lose the game. As I was leaving my seat this Vol fan comes running into the Vandy section tell everyone what a great game Vandy played and how sorry he was Vandy missed the field goal. The dude was very sincere.
Worst fans: Arkansas. After losing in Little Rock in 2004 in the last seconds of the game I was verbally assaulted the worst ever making my way to my car just for having an LSU jersey on. Had beer thrown on me, cussed, it was awful. I've never seen anything like it. Of course they had just won the West and got drilled in the SEC Championship game.
