Vandy, no question. They have GREAT pre-game festivities and activities for the kids.

Well, from my experience. Kentucky basketball fans are just as bad as LSU football fans. Auburn fans can be rude, but are not too bad...like LSU, their tailgaters are usually really nice. USC fans...well we've all seen Borat. Alabama fans are funny because their trash talk is usually poor, same with ole miss. Arkansas and Florida, I've had mixed emotions about these two, I have had good hospitality and downright turrible treatment from these fanbases. Georgia and Vandy fans can say some really offensive things, when I was at Memorial, I sat behind LSU's bench in 06 and heard one Vandy fan yell out to Misty(Brady's wife), "Hey Blondie, did Brady buy you those!(and then motioned to his breast)" but they said a lot worse things that day, but nothing as memorable as that. I do love that gym though.
That leaves Tennessee, who I have no complaints about. I have been there for football and basketball games and despite always thinking their team is better than they really are, they are usually gracious in defeat.

I've met bad and good fans from all schools. I'd say State and Tenn were the nicest.

We were treated like garbagge at Alabama. Most personal insults I have ever heard, especially after Katrina, and a local radio station insulted everthing LSU they could think of.
Nicest was Tennessee.

like a previous poster, i havent personally met any fans of SEC teams that are that bad.. im sure you get bad experiences going on the road.. but hell, that is what is supposed to happen..
if i have to select one group, based on nicest.. i would really go with Bama..

I'd say Arkansas and SC fans have been very gracious to me in person.
Bama fans have been awfully nice on TD to me. LSU for the most part too.

If we're talking about a school with a traditionally competitive program, it's UT.

I was in Arkansas during the last hurricane. An old lady notice my LSU stuff and said "you have a great team this year, Ours will be much better next year and in 2 years we will win it all" ...........

She probably wasn't on anything. She was probably just stuck in 1962.
