Rattler is just not a winning QB without a dominant D and running game. He refuses to throw deep.

Saints QBs career per attempt stats:

Brees - 67.7% 5.4% TD, 2.3% INT, 7.6 yards per attempt, 11.3 yards per completion, 6.6 air yards per attempt, 5.6 air yards per completion, 82.4% on target, 11.4% bad throw

Shough - 67.6% 3.1% TD, 1.8% INT, 7.3 Yards per attempt, 10.8 yards per completion, 8.3 Air Yards per attempt, 6.0 air yards per compeltion, 76.5% on target, 15.9% bad throw

Rattler - 62.7% 2.5% TD, 2.1% INT, 6.0 Yards per attempt, 9.5 yards per completion, 8.0 air yards per attempt, 5.3 air yards per completion, 73.2% on target, 14.4% bad throw

Wilson - 57% 2.3% TD, 2.5% INT, 6.3 Yards per attempt, 11.1 yards per completion, 7.8 Air Yards per attempt, 5.8 Air Yards per completion, 72% On Target, 21.2% Bad throw

Carr - 65.1% 4.4% TD, 1.9% INT, 7.1 yards per attempt, 11.0 yards per completion, 7.8 air yards per attempt, 5.8 air yards per completion, 78% on target, 15% bad throw

Hill - 63.3%, 3.9% TD, 2.9% INT, 7.9 yards per attempt, 12.4 yards per completion, 8.2 air yards per attempt, 7.0 air yards per completion, 74.7% on target, 17.2% bad throw

Winston - 61.1%, 4.8% TD, 3.5% INT, 7.6 yards per attempt, 12.5 yards per completion, 10.1 air yards per attempt, 8.1 air yards per completion, 70.4% on target, 19.5% bad throw

Bridgewater - 66.3%, 3.6% TD, 2.3% INT, 7.3 yards per attempt, 11.0 yards per completion, 7.3 air yards per attempt, 4.4 air yards per completion, 79% on target, 14.7% bad throw

Note the advanced stats are only for the last 3 seasons of Brees career when he was a noodle arm...and he still had more yards per attempt and air yards per completion than Rattler.

Rattler ranks dead last among all these Qbs in yards per attempt and yards per completion and only captain checkdown Teddy had a lower air yards per completion

You can see this evidence backed up yesterday when comparing Rattler's 3-5 yard attempts and Wilson actually airing it out.
You can't teach that level of athleticism and he has some decent pass rush moves. If he is solid on special teams, then you absolutely have to make room on the 53 if you think someone else will steal him from the PS.

nah, we need a guy to take some reps in the next 2 preseason games.

Wilson has already won QB2 imo
Who is to say?

The only rogues we have gotten have been a Canadian and an Australian. How do we know an American can't do a southern accent?
6 dollars for Dasani water is criminal.

Nobody even buys that shite during a hurricane.
honestly looked like one of the worst QBs of all time at times last year. A pure one read passer who when he did go to his second read always threw late and off his back foot. He should have had about 8 or 9 more INTs last year.

That isn't a competition. You'd have to go down to maybe a team of freshman high schoolers to even have a chance at the girls winning.
man, there was nothing better than watching the same sportscenter like 3 times at night
I can't imagine there is any argument for him being the best LSU LB in all of our lifetimes.

Dude was a menace. Sucks he couldn't stay one more year to get that ring with us but of course then he wouldn't have gotten that ring in Tampa.
probably not as they have a ton of TEs on their roster but they could find a spot for him with Payton's boner for the guy.

Engram sucked arse last year and makes too much money for his contract.

Trautman is just a guy. nothing special at all

Krull showed a few flashes with us and is a good blocker. Not sure if his ceiling is anything more than a Josh Hill.

Adkins is probably Hills #1 competition. Does all the special teams stuff.

Then they drafted 2 TEs this year in Justin Joly in the 5th and Darren Bentley in the 7th.

Plus last years 7th round pick in Caleb Lohner who hung around onthe practice squad and is back in camp this year.

same guys complaining about these probably the same guys that complained when hockey goalies started wearing masks.
I rewatched Troy last week to get into Odyssey again and damn was Troy better than I remember.

I don't remember liking the movie when I saw it... but I was also probably 16 when it came out.

Made me wish we got an Odyssey with Sean Bean as the title character because he was the best part of Troy.
I can't imagine the union is happy with LeBron signing for a minimum contract.
on paper, that starting 5 looks incredible.

Maxey
Edgecombe
Brown
LeBron
Embiid

I stopped watching years ago...back when Cold Pizza became the Skip Bayless hour.

well, White's knees were hanging on by a thread so no NFL team was gonna pay for that.
we stunk last year even with him playing over 60 games :dunno:
