To be a blueblood....

#1, you have to have a looooong track record of winning. That's called TRADITION!

#2, you have to have PRESTIGE -- an aristocrat of the sport.

#3, you have to have MYSTIQUE -- branding, iconic mascots, etc.

#4, you have to have RESOURCES -- lotsa money and fan support.

The following are definitely BLUEBLOODS as regarded by most in the sports writing profession and are in no particular order -- only as they come to mind.........

Notre Dame, Alabama, USC, Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Georgia, Penn State, LSU, Texas, and Tennessee.

You expected Missouri to be on the list of bluebloods?

No wonder your post is short, stupid and one big SHOUT for idiocy.

Your post is evidence of your lack of intelligence. Your dumpster-toilet mentality is proof you just have the inability to write coherently and succinctly, leading you to unabashed jealousy of those who can.

Your brain needs to be placed in a blender on high speed and fed to Texas fans.

Damn straight. Anyone acting like Tennessee isn't a Blueblood doesn't know as much as they think they do about CFB.

In order to be considered a blue blood, you had to win a bunch of games in the 1950s.

Bama was 50-48 during the 1950s.

Was there and it was awesome. Their fans are amazing. They actually gave the Horns a standing ovation when they left the field. That was a great stretch for the Huskers.
